Osi tired of hearing
Coughlin's criticism
ALBANY - Two days after what Tom Coughlin called a "soft" performance in Baltimore by the defensive line, yesterday's morning meeting wasn't a pleasant one for DE Osi Umenyiora.
"Obviously, I'm the worst defensive end in all of football after hearing the comments that were made in there," he said. "At this point in my career I feel like I know when I made a mistake. There's nothing a coach can say to me that I haven't said to myself 10 times already. As soon as I mess up, I know. So you don't have to do that to me."

MOSS-ING IN ACTION: Rookie receiver Sinorice Moss has already missed two weeks of practice with a strained quad. If he doesn't get healthy soon, he could end up missing a whole lot more.
Moss appears to be in danger of losing what was expected to be a significant role in the Giants' offense this season because of all the reps he's missed since he last practiced on July 29.
"We still think we're aware of what he can do and contribute," Coughlin said yesterday, but made it clear Moss needs to return to the field soon.
"It's going to be very difficult," Coughlin said. "He's missed so much time. All these reps he could've been learning by experience, he's been learning vicariously. He's been watching other people executing things he could've been doing."
BACK IN ACTION: TE Jeremy Shockey participated in his first full practice since suffering a concussion two weeks ago. LB LaVar Arrington (knee) returned as well. ... LB Carlos Emmons (burner) and G Chris Snee (knee) returned on a limited basis.
