Neither has anything to do with whether Jimmy Johnson would have only come to Dallas with Jerry Jones as the owner. Considering that Johnson watched Super Bowl XXIII in the Cowboys box with Tex Schramm and Gil Brandt, and Schramm did offer Johnson the defensive coordinator role to ultimately succeed Landry, I would highly question that statement.
