As bad as I want us to win this upcoming Detroit game, I think we lose

Cowboys are 3.5 road underdogs.

Vegas is feeling this game as a close one.

Lions aren't as good as last year and the Cowboys defense is improving so it should be a great game unless our D just fails to match up with them.

The biggest question is will they put any pressure on Goff?

Dak threw 2 picks and the game was not close from the start, everytime they ran the ball there backs wasn’t getting touched till a DB made contact. 49-7 it was bad and playing at home. There first play was a run that went for like 12 yards and no one wanted to tackle him.
I must have subconsciously blocked this game out because I don't remember it i'm sure I watched it but I thought Prescott was already injured but when we played this game but I do remember the first couple of games of the year like when the Saints destroyed us but I don't remember this game for some strange reason maybe I'm glad I don't... ;)

The Giants scored 27 points less than a week ago.
With an absolutely undermanned practice squad type of a team I mean the Giants have nobody left i've actually been impressed with the fight they have in them and looking at it as Cowboys versus Giants we always beat them and they are our rivals but I'm impressed with the energy and the effort they've been giving all year...

I was surprised for three quarters that they were leading the Lions that was a surprise they brought basically a practice squad in there and they still gave them hell.... Cowboys did definitely use a lot of that cut up from that game to devise their game plan..

Yip. Just like that.
You talking about where the Cowboys almost scored on every drive and the defense didn't really show up on either side and the Cowboys and Prescott actually out dueled the Seahawks and Geno ,beat them when it like 33-31 or something like that it was crazy..

I just hope that's not the case I mean this defense is supposed to be improved if they're going to give up 31 points then how improved are they?

I'm hoping we get pleasantly surprised and this maybe looks more like the Chiefs game that we just played kind of contested slightly high scoring but in the end the Cowboys had a 10 point lead and won the game I mean we could have scored instead of you know doing the run the clock out thing at the end of the game.... But sure I'm I'm sure it's gonna be a fight...

I'm confident. I'm being logical too. We can do both at the same time without getting offended. We are mostly adults on this MB.
Most of us are. Its very logical that we win as well. Its 50/50 every week the way the 1 are now i think we win out

Don't get me wrong, I stated those facts on the mb too. They are really desperate. I'm with you man. I'm just trying to look at it from Detroits vantage. I need to see more. Love how we been defying the odds. I'm encouraged. But just trying to stay grounded in reality. They won't go riding off into the night without fighting tooth and nail. It will be a Donny brook.
Betting lines have Detroit as a 5.5 point favorite.
I'm surprised it's that high. We are on a win streak against good teams with a *reason* for the win streak in added players.
I'm in Vegas. I may have to go take that bet.
...
Ugh. I'm not a gambler. Apparently Nevada has special laws about online gambling and we bet in a local pool in which Cowboys always get over bet by tourists so we get bad odds. Only 3.5 point spread here.

We are a different team than last year, like not even close. To use that game as a barometer would be beyond silly.
Well then, you better be correct. I'm hoping you are. Guess we will see if it's silly or not.

It's because the Lions are at home, season at stake and they still are a match up nightmare for us. Until vegas sees us consistently beat good teams, this will continue.

Dallas are +3. It opened up Dallas +4.5. This is how sharps make their money. Immediately after the Chiefs game, money on Cowboys moved it a point to +3.5.

I'm on board
I was going to say I usually agree with you but not this time. If I was worried it was KC they were a team with their backs against the wall and man was that a freaking good game Like two will's battling it out in the arena. If we had lost I would have still been proud.
I did. Very encouraging
When he was in he was on Worthy a lot. There was one play I believe they were at the 10 Worthy was sprinting across the end zone Revel was with him stride for stride arm out. He would have been a 1st round talent. We got a steal with him. If Diggs can play at 90% we go a secondary.
