As bad as I want us to win this upcoming Detroit game, I think we lose

Detroit has dumb coaching.... they may have beaten GB if they had kicked FG's instead of going for it on every 4th down they faced.
This is something I think most people overlook. Campbell may be a motivator of players, but he is a dumb field general. His coaching errors could be the difference.

However, the Lions speed is what I worry about. RB Gibbs and WR Williams are just so fast. They have to give Williams some extra coverage without exposing the outside to big runs by Gibbs. If he gets loose in the secondary he just outruns the defense.

As bad as I want us to win this upcoming Detroit game, it's gonna be very very hard. Alot to ask. I think we lose that game. Will be low scoring. Will be a valiant effort. However, I think even more stunning will be Philly losing next week as well. Thus not really hurting us. Then what will happen is we go and run the table. We finish 10-6-1 as Division Champion. Philly will lose 4 out of the next 5. They finish at 9-8. They will beat Washington one time but lose everything else. All we must do is win the next 4 out of 5 and we are fine. We are hot. Nobody wants to play us. We are getting healthy also right at the right time. Eagles are circling the drain. Don't look now but this team loves one another and is playing like a bunch of mudders that have a chip on their shoulders. Is it the trades, Shotty, Flus, Kneeland? Is it an accident that we began playing better right after we sent Diggs home to sulk? Just asking because this ain't the same team we saw the first half of the year. I always said this is a transition year for us going back to camp. I was looking ahead to 2026, keeping my 2025 expectations low. However, could it be that we jumped ahead of the curve because of those trades we made, including the Pickens trade? Is Pick a cheat code? I'm loving it because now we are playing loose, with house money, no pressure. Nobody gave us a chance. Still don't. We shall see. Comment, let me know guys, what you think. Sorry for the very long opening statement.
I think some of you think to much....I was and still am in such a good mood because of this game and yesterday's Texas game, that I spent over 2k on my wife's, daughter's and son in law's Christmas gifts yesterday, including one last night, right after the Texas game....gonna be a great week at 12 Oaks!!!! Can't wait to start messing around with some of the guys on here, that enjoy the back and forth!!!! Some can't...I posted, we got lucky, after the game and a couple of newbies came after me!!!! Calling me a Hater! LOL.

That was funny!

Has it been confirmed both St. Brown and LaPorta are out?

Overshown must be spying him in this game, not Wilson.

Hopefully the wins keep a coming.

Detroit lost to the Eagles, barely beat the Giants and lost to GB. They feel cornered and have something to prove. It will be a good game. Maybe last possession wins.

Amon-Ra is hurt. We will beat the Lions
Man I'd be elated if we pulled that off in their place with the season on the line for them. Do you realize how deep in the playbook Campbell will go? We might need to sack Goff like 7 times to have a chance and hold both backs under 100 yards total.

We must stay in playoff mode and be better than the last 2 games to win this one.

I think I feel more confident about this game than I did the chiefs game. Goff isn't nearly as mobile as Mahomes or Hurts. I think our pass rush is going get home a lot more this game. I also think our 5 man fronts will do just enough to slow down their run game.

We been in playoff mode for 3 games. Not sure we can run the table. Detroit gets paid too. At home they aren't losing to us.
If we lose to Detroit, I’ll be back in tank mode. Chances of playoffs will go back to 5%-ish with 4 games to play. At that point, improving draft position seems like the more prudent priority.

Did you watch them play the Packers? Their oline is in shambles, no Laporta no Amon-Ra. The dline should be on Goffs neck all day long. And their DBs have 0 answer for Pickens and Lamb. I almost guarantee we beat them by double digits

I don't.

DET is reeling and hasn't been playing all that well. And their #1 WR is out, I believe? Goff has never stood pressure well, especially interior pressure. We'll flummox him good.

Dall 34 DET 20

You miserable good for nothing somethin' somethin'..............

HATER !!!!!!

detroit didn’t jsut want to beat us, they wanted to embarrass us. The last two times we played them they later us like e a divisional opponent. It felt like the games were personal to them. The weren’t just playing with a chip on their shoulder. So I really want to beat Detroit
Exactly, I cant stand Detroit and their cry baby coach. Its time we take it personal.

Dogfight coming.

They'll be lacking some talent and we are healthy.

Campbell's job might be on the line. He cannot make chicken soup with chicken SUIT.

I think we get out on top.
