As much as we bash Garrett

11 years of Garrett stench on this team. 11.
In that time there have been two 12-4 seasons with a 13-3.

No it hasn’t been great and no it’s not up to standard for what this franchise has with resources.

But let’s not act like it’s been 11 years of 5-11.

Marvin Lewis is the same in the AFC for Cincy and they’re doing well this year.

Garrett is actually what you’d want in a CEO. Intelligent, good motivator and love for the organization.

He needs to reinvent himself ala Andy Reid and get more aggressive to compete in today’s NFL but the tone of the franchise is solid. Andy Reid never threw the ball down the field like he is now with Mahomes. McNabb and Smith were both dink and dunk.

To me it’s Stephen that while he has restrained Jerry from making bad moves like Manziel, he’s also put a little too much stock in being risk adverse. Thus the WR core isn’t very good. Now we’ll see next offseason if the restraint pays off when they’re not up against the cap.

The schemes are run by coordinators with input from HC on overall direction. The direction of relying on an OL week in and week out is not as secure as they’d hoped. When it doesn’t work there’s not an easy plan B. That’s the part that needs to be tweaked. Have it where if the OL dominates you can maul people but if it’s not working like last week there’s other options.

The FO tries to be like the Patriots by cutting guys too soon. The coaching staff is the opposite of the Patriots by being too stubborn to change schemes from week to week.

People say Garrett’s been HC for 8 years but in reality it’s been two stints of 5 and 3. Changing QBs who are drastically different changes the whole team.

That’s basically a long way of saying overall I’d give him a C+.

I want him to do well but totally understand and would support the decision to move on if the team finishes 9-7 or worse and no playoffs.

I never ever said Garrett was a bad motivator, or bad culture coach.

Where he fails in X's and O's.

You can't convince me the offense tonight was his. Linehan studied KC from last week and , gasp, made adjustments.

Dak got freed, the offense was a lot more open.

This isn't what we've seen so far this season. We all watched it.

Romo actually mentioned this. He said Linehan got those 3rd down route designs from
the KC game. Good catch, Drew.

LMAO.
Garrett apologists and paid bots come out of the grave, out of the crypt to shower him with gifts after 9 years of garbage results .
Despite my signature..

I am not a Garrett Lover.

I slam him like the rest when warranted.

But facts are..

Nobody else wants this job to coach this team.

As unhappy as we get..

After 8 years with Garrett..

can you even imagine the 2am bedroom conversations with Garrett and his wife?

"honey..how was your day?"

"oh it was crazy. You know Jerry..now he wants to draft Johnnie Mansel ?"

"And how is Tony going to handle that...?"

" no freakin' idea..I have to tell him in the morning so he will not die of shock when it happens..now go to bed, goodnight..love you"

"Love you , too..nite nite..kiss."

I mean Garrett must talk to himself in the mirror shaving before he goes to work.

I could never do it..not for all the tea in China.

The only redeemin

How many times did we make it to the playoffs? How many playoff wins? I'd say that would be an F.

Can you get her to send me a Patrick Mahomes bobble-head?... lol

No, but I'l tell you how long she worked for them.

I have an two unproduced Super Bowl XXX full leather jackets that pro-player rejected.

I have a one of a kind picture of Troy Aikman that is always in the right wall of my den.

And I had a dinner with Marty Schottenhiemer, and almost zero football was talked.

Not ready to credit Garrett just yet. He didn't do anything. The playcalling was done by Linehan. Possibly letting things loss because of the pressure of losing his job. Garrett if he win or lose won't lose his job. Heck, I'd credit our defense and Richard more so than Garrett.
This isn't how it works. Now putting any coach on the hot seat or taking them off of said hot seat week to week is silly.

But if you kill Garrett after a loss....after a statement win...giving credit to others basically shows your incredible amount of bias. Be consistent.

I can picture Marty as a deep person. Knowledgeable in many things.
He's probably the only coach to be fired after going 14-2. The Spanos family in San Diego
were idiots, smh.

I personally took a picture of Troy Aikman and Dan Marino talking just before a game on
Thanksgiving Day, 1999.

This reminded me of an old commercial were this guy is leaving for work,
and later coming home from work, saying "can't take this... not another day".
There's a parrot in his home repeating after him "can't this this... not another day"... lol

There’s no question he keeps guys playing, where maybe other coaches would lose the team. It’s just the dumbo stuff of trying to force things that aren’t there, and not seeing the obvious game situations that drive me to pick up the phone...”Ahh yes...I’d like to make an appointment with therapist Amy...she wouldn’t be available Monday by any chance?...yes it’s me again, she knows the reason.”

Lol...he killed for the losses, even playcalling , now he does nothing in the wins....lol classic
I know, right?

Garrett has some qualities.

The players see it.

He used to QB this team.

They understand him and him them.

We do not see that side of it..

That is a hysterical post.

Thanx for playing along.

Garrett is trash

I do like Marinelli and Richard's though
hmm..

It is sort of like your wife..

there are something's you love about her..

and other times you look at her sister and daydream about what it would be like if you had married her instead of your wife?

Yes?

Garrett was needed one time today and that was to throw the challenge flag on that 3rd & Long completion that was either incomplete or short. Everyone saw it. Lawrence wanted the Flag. He didnt and they scored 7 the next Play. Thats what Garrett did today.

The playcalling was all Linehan + Dak audibles on the LOS. Both guys playing for their Jobs right now.
