At one point, we were +2 in turnovers but down by 17

If you really understand football, you know how unusual that is. It is HARD to be down by three scores with a +2 or greater TO margin.

Hell, teams who have zero turnovers and force two or more turnovers win 81% of the time outright since the merger. Being down by three scores with that margin is almost unheard of.

In order to understand this you need to understand the concept of 3 and out. We have become a very good team in that regard, except when the game gets out of reach for us then we don't go 3 and out anymore

We find new ways and reasons to lose.

Going 3 and out five times while earning a combined 6 yards doesn't help you win.

As much as this team sucks, to be fair, one of those turnovers put them on their own one yard line.

Yep but that what happens when you go 3 and out the 1st 3 quarters of a game (And it wasn't the first time) then mop up some Garbage stats for yourself as QB so your agent can have a better negotiating position!

I agree we suck, but this thread is a bit misleading. We were down by 17 while +1 in turnovers (Chicago threw an INT early in the game which we didn't capitalize on). As soon as we went up +2 in turnovers (Chicago fumbled), we made it a 10 point game. So the second turnover quickly led to a score. It wasn't like we were +2 for a long period while being down 17.

The most concerning thing was giving up 24 straight points after having an impressive opening drive. That was a result of four 3-and-outs and a missed FG while Chicago averaged 60 yards a drive and scored on four straight possessions. We did something similar in the Bills game. Impressive opening drive TD followed by Buffalo scoring 26 unanswered points.
