At the start of the year . . . .

Looking at the schedule starting the year, I figured these last four games would be easy. Only Atlanta giving us concern. Now, the Saints, and Iggles are going to be tough. Sweeping all four may not be that easy.

Funny how things change from year to year. Even month to month.

Saints may be close, but we're gonna crush Philly on Xmas

I actually think it looks much more favorable now than it did earlier.

Philly is much worse (and more hurt) than expected, as are the Falcons. The Saints are darn good, but injured. And the Lions are, well, the cowardly Lions as expected.

I agree. I saw Philly and Atlanta as much bigger threats, especially being that it was at Atlanta. The Saints are a surprise but I think we'll handle them at home.

Jake Delhomme's ineptness isn't gonna fool me into thinking the Eagles can hang..

the only game I thought was easy of the last four in the beginning of the year was the lions..all the others I was worried sick about. Now I think we easily take 3 of 4, probably 4 of 4.

Given the fact most games are won by less than 10 points I consider any team we play as a threat. Saying that does not mean I don't think we can win game convincingly it just means most games tend not to be blow outs and the outcome of a game can come down to a few plays. I think Dallas will be favored in each of the last 4 games but if they let their guard down at all even a team like the Lions can jump up and get you.

Beginning of the year, I thought the Eagles and the Falcons were going to be hard games.

But now, all the games look easy to me.

That's right. I got some me Moxie.:laugh1:

Well we should have beaten the skins as well but that did not happen. Don't count your victories until it is done.

Sure they won the game, but it was one of those fluke occurrences. Those games happen to every team, even the dominant teams in the pre-free agency era.

Were we the better team? Yes. Were we in position to win it in the final seconds of the game? Yes. Unfortunately, flukes happen. Basically I consider our record this season as 5-1.

I agree with everything you said. Flukes happen and missed opportunities happen which is why I don't count wins until we get them. Too many things happen in a game. There is no doubt that Indy is a much better team than Tenn but Indy lost that game. As we get closer to capturing the division and hopefully the bye week the pressure raises even if it is self inflicted. As I said I expect Dallas to be favored in all their remaining games but to win Dallas has to go out and play hardnosed football.

No just been watching the NFL longer than some of you have been alive. I don't need moxie I live in reality. If Dallas goes out and plays like they can we will win but in my opinion there are no easy games and teams who treat a game like that ends up sitting on the bench with long faces wondering how in the hell did that just happen.

So what does this have to do with anything? I could be older than you.

I live in reality.

Well good for you. I live in Moxie induced la la land.

Who said the team is treating any game as an easy game. I said all the games looks easier now than it did begining of the season. It doesn't mean the Cowboys think so.

I'm glad you live in Moxie land but I don't. So you and your moxie can go take a hike.

It is all based on a before and after lunch kinda gig. Before lunch we got this, and after lunch we suddenly got that.

I don't fret the Eagles at all. They barely handled the Panthers. I am eager to see Payton and Parcells play chess Sunday. Should be interesting.

There are no easy games in the NFL. Not even Detroit (See: Patriots). If the Cowboys manage to win out, it will be from hard work and preparation, good execution and maybe a little bit of luck.
