no its amazing you spout this bilge and think anyone believes you. Why were almost every single Patriot ball under inflated? YOU JUST ADMITTED WHY. THEY made sure they were under inflated while the colts made sure they were not. You just convicted your team!!!!
Are you really this clueless or are you just faking it for my own personal enjoyment? Nobody denies that the Patriots balls were underinflated. The question is how did they get to that point.

THERE ARE LIGHT YEARS OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LAWS OF PHYSICS DEFLATING THE BALLS BY A FEW TICKS VERSUS SOME EQUIPMENT MANAGER TAKING A NEEDLE AND LETTING SOME AIR OUT AFTER THE REFEREES DID THEIR PREGAME INSPECTION.

(see? I can type in ALL CAPS too..!!)

People across the league who are obscenely jealous of the Patriots are going to stay that way no matter what, but the overwhelming public opinion on this matter is that if some guy took a needle and let out some air then that's a big deal.... but if all this is is the laws of physics in action, then it is not even remotely a big deal.

In fact, if all this comes down to is the laws of physics in action, it raises the question: What exactly were the Patriots supposed to do?? I mean, are they supposed to take running measurements of the air pressure of the game balls in the middle of the game on a cold, rainy day and adjust them on the sidelines accordingly?

This is PURE GOLD!

Variable laws of physics from one sideline to the other. Drier warmer air 50 yds away on the Colts sideline :lmao2::lmao::laugh::lmao2::lmao::laugh:

What part of:

The laws of physics worked on both sets of balls, but the Colts had a larger baseline. In other words, for example, the Patriots submitted the balls at 12.5 and they passed the pregame inspection. The Colts submitted them at 13.0 and passed the pregame inspection as well. Then Mother Nature deflates all balls by 0.5. Colts are still in range, whereas Patriots are just a few ticks under.

does your childlike mind not understand?

There was plenty of denial by Patriots fans that the balls were deflated. Thus their jumping on the ridiculously absurd story that only 2 of the 11 balls came up short and other stories. They also tried to deny it when they said they were susceptible to environmental pressures and other excuses, when the NFL pretty much admitted that the balls were TAMPERED with, but they were still determining how it happened.

The biggest laughable excuse was the claim that nobody even reported the balls were tampered with and the Colts LB 'revoked' his excuse, yet the NFL pretty much admitted after the SB that the Colts GM is the one who reported the balls being deflated during the game, confirming exactly what the original reports were. This latter fact also shows that the NFL did tell their own people to keep shut and the claims by the Colts HC and the Colts LB were pretty much the standard response the NFL ordered.

So what this basically means is the LATTER reports in essence turned out to be false and most likely somebody was leaking information after the fact to alter the perception of cheating by the Patriots after the fact.

you are a funny guy.

There still has been NO reasonable explanation for why the story changed from the initial report of 11 of the 12 Pats balls being more than 2 psi under regulation. Oh sure the story has changed, but thats what it is, a changed story.

This fact about the GM also pretty much blows out of the water the farcical claim by Brady, who pretty much stumbled in the PC, and BB that they had no knowledge of the issue until Monday. As one of the reporters asked Brady during the PC, how could you not know if their was a delay of game to change the balls? No surprise he stumbled over his tongue and looked like an idiot. This also explains why BB, who usually is just mum on such things looked pretty much flustered when it first happened.

I find it comical how 'oblivious' some people are, including NFL PR, by admitting the Colts GM is the one that reported the balls deflated. First of all, it most likely confirms the fact the Pats were doing it before and somebody did leak information to them. Secondly, it shows that the Colts HC and LB were most likely told by the NFL to be quiet and play nonsense, which actually explains their 'playing dumb' comments.

BTW, Kraft pretty much is a major player in the media, considering his ties to CBS, through Viacom. It wouldn't be difficult to push out a bunch of false reports to alter perception after the fact that the issue was no big deal and they were still 'investigating it'.

The biggest thing to me though, which I just chuckle at, outside of Deflate-gate is how predictable the NFL would play the ineligible-eligible WR rule. They 'outlawed' it in language that makes it look like their addressing what the Patriots did, without actually doing it. I also find the NFL comical in how they happened to admit that they missed a call against the Colts on this same rule, when it clearly had no impact on the game, but pretty much were silent as it related to the Ravens, which actually impacted the game.

But nobody wants to talk about it... Nobody wants to talk about the fact that the refs 'incompetence' totally altered the game. The new rule in place, that a WR can't be declared ineligible if he lines up outside the front 4 does nothing to address the fact that the WR was declared ineligible right before the ball was snapped and the refs didn't convey it clearly to the Ravens. The most I have heard is that the refs didn't declare ineligible but said 'don't cover that receiver'. If that is true, what the hell does that even mean for a defender, especially when your defense is already lined up...

How does a defense now react the rest of the game? And you wonder how Amendola got that wide open on a flea flicker...

The NFL admitted absolutely no such thing. You're making stuff up and the fact that you have to make stuff up proves you don't have any facts you can rely upon.

Geez, I didn't realize everything ESPN reported was 100% written in stone and should be considered the first, last and only word on the subject. Because ESPN never gets a story wrong. Nope. Not them. They're perfect. Everything they say is right on. Unquestionably.

Your just such a homer it's laughable. This was reported everywhere right AFTER the SB.

Your not even credible anymore when you say stuff like this. TROY VINCENT, the director of NFL operations, admitted it point blank. All the homers theories are essentially nonsense on this fact alone.

The Pats are just innocent victims in all of this, just ask Rogah.

Almost as funny as your overall cluelessness regarding this subject.

You wrote "the NFL pretty much admitted that the balls were TAMPERED with".

There is absolutely NOTHING in either of those articles you posted that supports your statement. Nice try, though!!

EDIT: Seriously... your own article says: "The NFL said before the Super Bowl that it is still investigating how the Patriots used underinflated balls in their AFC title game but has no conclusions yet and no timetable for resolving the cheating accusations."

Please explain to us all how you take that paragraph and interpret that to mean that the league admitted the balls were tampered with. Really. I want to hear how your brain got from point A to point B based on the above.

I thought you were referring to the NFL admitting that the Colts organization reported the balls deflated, because I've already quoted multiple times the NFL admitting that the balls were deflated.

I've quoted the official NFL statement multiple times in our previous discussions. I find it comical you just pop up on this form when it comes to the Patriots integrity.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...-of-balls-in-afc-title-game-led-by-pash-wells

While the evidence thus far supports the conclusion that footballs that were under-inflated were used by the Patriots in the first half, the footballs were properly inflated for the second half and confirmed at the conclusion of the game to have remained properly inflated. The goals of the investigation will be to determine the explanation for why footballs used in the game were not in compliance with the playing rules and specifically whether any noncompliance was the result of deliberate action. We have not made any judgments on these points and will not do so until we have concluded our investigation and considered all of the relevant evidence.

My full-blown statement was:

This latter fact also shows that the NFL did tell their own people to keep shut and the claims by the Colts HC and the Colts LB were pretty much the standard response the NFL ordered.

As one can see, the statement is directed to the claim that the Patriots fans are not living in denial... Everything points to shady behavior on their part.

Then we appear to have had a little misunderstanding.

Colts GM Ryan Grigson admitted he informed the NFL office of his suspicions prior to the AFCCG, so I am certainly not going to dispute that point. Of course, that raises the $64,000 question: Who did Grigson speak to and what did that person do with the accusation?

No, their is no misunderstanding. My point was that this was the ORIGINAL report from the Indianapolis reporter who broke the story. What the NFL admitted through their own words confirms the story...

Everything that followed, such as 2 out of 11 balls being deflated, the balls were subject to environmental pressures and so forth, such as Brady and BB being unaware until Monday, (despite their being a delay of game and the NFL having to re-pump balls) is just a bunch of hogwash. Those were most likely pushed from 'sources' to change perception enough such that the claims to the Pats cheating would lack 'credibility'.

Oh, ok, then we're back to you being clueless about what really happened.

The NFL made absolutely no admission whatsoever about tampering with the footballs. Your own articles support my statement and disprove yours. The NFL said the balls were underinflated, but drew no conclusions regarding how they go to be that way.
