Yahoo sports is reporting that Falcons MLB Sean Weatherspoon, perhaps one their best defensive player, is out for the 2014 season after he tore his achillies running with medical staff. I think a lot of NFL teams are now going to sit their star players for fear of them getting hurt in OTA.

The NFL did quite well for a lot of years with no offseason OTA's. Frankly no real reason for them considering the risk of injuries

I think they have many of the same stregths and weakness. WR corps are similar and while I think Romo is way better than Ryan, the perception of the two and playoff records are comparable.
