He’s one of the top kickers in the NFL. The Cowboys are apparently prepared to pay him like one, nearly $6 million for 2026.

He's one of several. $6M is absurd, but it is the 2nd round tender. Would be a gift for someone to cough up a 2nd for a guy who is no longer a top 5 kicker.
 
If the players are smaller in Japan, its probably the old days of yhe NFL.A lot of movement and fun to watch.

Of course, but just tender him a first rounder. this way if some team really does get crazy dumnb enough to make the cotract insane you at least get a real draft pick, real compensation.

It is, and they have some good sized players too. Its just that a lot of them are not necessarily massive. That said, I think they certainly have the technique and discipline. Plus, their kickers have massive legs too; did you see the kicker from U Hawaii (who's from Japan).

We're not here to win just as many games as we have before... we are here to win the BIG games we have not won before and in such games, you might need a great kicker, especially with the parity of teams now more commonplace in the NFL every game.
 
Why is everything so complicated for JJ. Just sign the man already. He is our MVP.

I just told you I’d take Law. I’d take Diggs too. Probably Chido. Like I said I don’t value kicker like most of you do. Talking about mvp and all this other crap lol. He wouldn’t even make my top 10 mvp list lol.

They like 60-70 yarders despite it not resulting in wins. I like Aubrey and this is all hypothetical because no one would ever trade a 2nd for him. But if I got offered that for any kicker in the league you take it. People are speaking from emotion.

If you dont think he was the co-mvp of the cowboys after putting up 155 points then I dont know what to say to you.

He alone had more impact on our offense point totals than Lamb and Ferguson.
