He single handedly
Did anyone read this crap? If so, you have to much time on your hands! So let me get this straight,
He ran out there received the kickoff and he ran one back 40 yards and set himself up for a field goal?
Let me be clear the offense or in some situations the defense sets the kicker up to allow him to do his thing they do not do it by themselves not even close do not win games single handedly ever... Now they have lost games but most good coaches and supporting players would say well we should have scored a touchdown in that situation not put it all on our kicker and they all take the blame just like they all take the credit..
How many times did he do this? that he played returner, quarterback, offensive line, running back and receiver and set him up in field goal range because I don't remember any of these field goals being fair catch and then an immediate kick from that spot kind of odd isn't it that somehow now the kicker gets more credit than the quarterback in this place he's winning games by himself..
This is getting like is this dude now 7 foot 4 and shoots bolts of lightning out his ****?.
He's not even the best kicker in the NFL right now ,There are kickers that have kicked record kicks, There are kickers that have a better kicking percentage, and kickers have been used just as much as him, the only thing they haven't done has been asked by their team to kicks a bunch of them over 60 yards..
That could be a problem here and this is not a knock on Aubrey but your statement is ridiculous it's out of control they do not play by themselves, nobody on the team does ,but especially the kicker Half of his points this year came from extra points, meaning the offense move the ball and put it in the end zone and he came out, and got half his damn points from extra points..
But the offense moved the ball when it needed to, to get in the field goal range, and it stalled out even though they were top five in scoring this year..
they allowed Aubrey to finish a drive with a field goal but not begin one because I don't know any one that ever began a drive this year because I don't remember any turnovers and he scores by the defense I mean nothing that I can remember that just gave this man a field goal without the help of the offense..
Even earlier in the year just by memory only didn't the defense in overtime get an interception and then the offense came out on the field move the ball got a couple of first downs or whatever it was and then he got the game winning kick against the lowly Giants in Ot remember that but I don't remember him specifically doing it on his own.
He literally so many kickers this year have done the same thing for their teams they just haven't kicked the long ones outside of that yes he's a top 5 kicker in this league but he is not even the best right now there were some dudes that were kicking at 100 percent and set some records this year As good a kicker as he is he doesn't even have the NFLs longest kick record..
I'm not saying we should trade him but a second round pick might be awfully tasty from the right team that it at least should be discussed there should be a debate I don't think anybody on this team should be truly untouchable right now but he is the kicker it is not a bad price if he wants to negotiate but did not even give consideration to a 2nd round pick that we don't have..
Say it might be easier to replace the kicker than what we could get with a 2nd round pick I mean that's a quality player..

I think even ChatGPT would blow up screaming "ERROR!! ERROR!!" like when Capt. Kirk would blow up a rogue computer AI by talking it to death.ChatGPT must be doing double time for him haha

except if you are in last second playoff game and you need 3I mean when has that happened? Who’s desperate enough to do that?
Pickens is due to be a UFA, not an RFA. He is not subject to the tender process. So, that’s not “how you do it”.This is dumb. The highest paid kicker gets 6.4/year. Give aubrey 8 on a front loaded deal, and use the 1st round tender tag on Pickens. That's how you do it.
What do you mean?except if you are in last second playoff game and you need 3
mr Marathon---- to be honest i cannot remember the teams but just few years ago the kicker to win game missed chip shot and teamWhat do you mean?
mr Mobinvans----total agreementI wouldn’t trade him for a second rounder
He single handedly won us games ,
I used the wrong term. They can use the non exclusive franchise tag on him. Doubt anyone gives up the ammo for him but you never know.Pickens is due to be a UFA, not an RFA. He is not subject to the tender process. So, that’s not “how you do it”.
King----Can we just do what we got too to keep George???Pickens is due to be a UFA, not an RFA. He is not subject to the tender process. So, that’s not “how you do it”.
I very much believe the Cowboys should sign George Pickens. Understanding he will be expensive. Great players in the NFL are all expensive.King----Can we just do what we got too to keep George???
agreed....and what i saw from Pickens when CeeDee was out showed me he is true #1...keep George and dive deeper in offensiveI very much believe the Cowboys should sign George Pickens. Understanding he will be expensive. Great players in the NFL are all expensive.
Cowboys should do everything they can to maximize the $60 million AAV investment in their quarterback. Two great wideouts makes all the sense in the world.agreed....and what i saw from Pickens when CeeDee was out showed me he is true #1...keep George and dive deeper in offensive
scheming using pass to set up the run...and wear the teams out...Go-Cowboys
wish we had Zeke only first 3 years....BEASTI wouldn’t trade him for a second rounder
He single handedly won us games ,
