This is an elaborate ruse waiting for that perfect moment in the Super Bowl on 4th and goal from the 2 yard line when were down by 5 with 10 seconds left.

Tom Landry would build on things like that over the season. He always used shifting and different formations to set up plays later in the year. Especially once they got to be a contender and champion.

I would often watch the games and think that Landry just used only what he was forced to show to beat the opponent, I think those Cowboys played many a close game because they wanted more at the end of the season.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe it's reverse psychology? Maybe they are still doing it in preseason so that defensive players think they are still doing that then when the season comes around it means something completly different.

I can't imagine they would still do it. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed ripped Garrett because of his "vanila" offense.

You cant imagine they would kill a play when Romo doesnt like how the the defense is lined up?

Wow.

And it has nothing to do with Garrett. Romo makes that call at the line.

Oh boy. That's not what I said at all. Take off your hate bias just for a minute or two and actually read.

Of course I can imagine that. I'm talking about the terminology. KILL KILL KILL and Omaha are Garretts terminology. I have no problem with the actual audible play itself just don't say KILL KIILL KILL!. Call it something else.

No they're not.

Bledsoe said kill far before Garrett was here, and Peyton Manning says "Omaha" all the time.

*sigh

They mean different plays for them.

Your dense. Either change the terminology or change the plays so it's not a freakin draw play when Romo says KILL KILL KILL. Not sure how else I'm suppose to put it.

You're not as smart as you think you are. They're not ****ing plays man.

What is so hard to understand that "kill" is not an actual audible? Romo is simply "killing" the play that is in the huddle.

So either A.) They called two plays in the huddle (hurry up) and he's killing the first, or B.) He's killing the first play, and calling out the new play at the line.

To simplify AGAIN. "Kill" is not a play. It is "killing" a play, and is changing to a new one. It does not mean its a run or a pass when you hear this, simply that Romo does not like what the defense is giving him, and is making a change.

*edit* and btw, if YOU'RE going to call someone dense, you may want to check your spelling and grammar there genius.

Want to know why I have a "hate" (or whatever you called it earlier) bias for you?

Because you can never man up and admit you're wrong. It all started in the NBA Finals thread when you were dead wrong in every Cavs related aspect, yet would never admit it. Thats it. Besdies that you usually have good threads and posts, but you just cant admit when you're wrong.

Take a note from Hos and man up and just admit when you're wrong.

It's most likely not.

QB's use hand signals and all other kinds of stuff. Even in there cadence.

But i've yet to see Dallas pass the football after Romo yells "kill, kill, kill".
we are just using this to set up a big play in he superbowl :)

I admitted I was wrong about Beckwith the other day. That whole NBA playoffs thing was just for fun and just trying to antagonize Laker fans. I got completely owned.

No one here is indicating that Kill, Kill, Kill is a play. I would imagine that everyone here understands that when Romo yells Kill, it means he is killing the first play because of what he sees the defense is giving him. The problem that everyone on this board has, is that it takes an arm charm QB to figure out that everytime Romo kills a play it ends up leading to a rushing play. No one cares about anything else, just stop running the dang ball after killing the first play. We want to keep the defense honest.

No. It was a half defeat. Thought Kill was an actual play but still had the right idea about it being a run play every single time. I didn't wanna repond in a long paragraph so I just put "yawn"

Haha fair enough. The hate bias has subsided.

btw, I dont think that "kill" is a run everytime. I havent watched the 1st Wash game again, but I would bet that Romo "killed" quite a few runs into passes that game.
