The victory Monday issue for me is this. One game. The Cowboys played one solid game so far this season and there are still 10 left on the schedule.
How about we wait to start getting 'too high' in December? That's been a problem for this team for some time now. This roller coaster is never on a level surface and just cruising along. The Cowboys are always going overboard one way or the other depending on a win or a loss in one single game.
So we know the players should know that they aren't really getting the day off and it's great to hear that most of them showed up to Valley Ranch on Monday to get in some film work.
But the message from Wade says that the foot can come off the gas somewhat even if it's for one day. All I ask is that we get a little closer to the desired destination before we start thinking that it's ok to start coasting.
