Here's what the Dallas media members were saying today on Galloway and Company about the Terrell Owens saga playing out at Valley Ranch these days...

Dallas media weighs in on Terrell Owens

Interesting to say the least.

Some say the offense will be terrible next season if he's gone, but I don't buy that at all. Roy Williams can't be that bad and he was nursing a foot injury last season. Plus the running game should be stout with Felix, MBIII and Tashard Choice.

Would I want the Cowboys to bring in another WR via free agency if T.O. is a goner?

Only if it's TJ Housh. If it's not him then go get a young WR in the draft and develop him. I say go big or don't go at all into Free Agency when you are talking about the 'skill positions'.

The more and more I hear about all this 'smoke' of him leaving the more I think it's a real possibility.

if TO leaving means we committ to a running game and romo is more comfortable throwing to whoever and doesn't have to watch his back (if any of it were true in the first place) i'm all for it and still think that a healthy OL will mean a good offense.

If there is no suitable replacment for Owens, then yes, the offense will be horrible next year with basically the same cast (minus Owens). No, I don't believe Hurd, Austin, or Crayton have shown anything remotely close to what Owens can produce. none of those three guys commands double teams.

Easy way to shut down the Dallas offense next year:

Double RW and Witten. Run blitz the gaps, put your best speed rusher on Flozell.

you can say that about the panthers and titans but teams couldn't stop them from running. and what do you do when you see a double backfield of jones/barber and bennett and witten. a LB/S on bennett is a mismatch, as is a LB/S trying to cover the backs coming out of the backfield.

So the defense now gets to play with 15 guys? lol.

I know we take a step back without two big time WR's on the field, but it's not like the offense goes from good to horrible.

A lot of teams would love the package of weapons we have minus Terrell Owens. Not every team is loaded up like a fantasy team in the NFL.

i think it all shows what happens to this team, when T O is out of the game like he was in December in 2007.

This team needs T O, or at least a speed guy to take the double coverage most of the game.

I am not sure that roy williams wr is that speed wr.

Roy Williams is more of a faster possession type receiver, with alittle more speed than crayton.

You all saw how this team suffered when T O went out in December in 2007.

And we still dont know if felix jones will be 100 percent yet or even able to play again. Turf toe surgery is pretty bad for football players, most football players dont come back from that type of surgery.

Now the biggest problem on this team has been ever since 1995, when the dallas cowboy players got to old and beat up to win championships.

There arent any true leaders on this team, that will make the players accountable, that will keep or make things said in the locker room private.

Guys like the Moose, Kevin Gogan, Nate Newton, Larry Allen, Charles Haley, Darren Woodson, Ken Norton Jr., Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith.

Till this team hates to lose, really hate to lose, and bugs them like heck when the eagles were laughing at them at the end of the game in phily at the end of the year.

A reporter said, after the loss, some players were cutting up on the plane and laughing, caring on. Till that atmosphere is changed on this team, and the star QB of this team really wants to be a champion, and wants to win super bowls, this team isnt going anywhere.

Then, when you add in a head coach that doesnt allow the players to hit in practice or work out in pads the first 25 days in training camp, and gives players extra days like in the arizona game, an extra day off because you played hard.

Heck, your star QB got knocked out and hurt, your star punter was lost for the year, and you as a head coach give them an extra day off.

Those are the problems on this team. Not T O.
