First I hope we start out 4-0, but if we do start out 0-4 then Wade had better be fired ASAP. Something better happen to try and salvage the season.

Holmgren in 2010? IMO, nah.

I would rather go with a 'fresh face' who can be here for years to come. If Garrett does a great job this season and he's that guy then ok.

I doubt Phillips will get fired. No matter what happens, he's here. Put simply, he's got ironclad job security. He's his own defensive coordinator.

If it is the offense at fault, then does Garrett get fired? Jerry will probably bring in a consultant to assist the team during the season and fire whoever is to blame at the end of the year. And I'd rather have Shanahan than Holmgren. Holmgren reminds me of a big, cartoon bear.

It isn't in Jerry Jones' make-up to fire coaches during a season.

Jason Garrett also makes over $3 million dollars a season and coaching contracts are guaranteed in the NFL.

I don't think Jerry would want to shell out that cash to a coach sitting at home.

I know.

It stinks. We should have kept Sparnano. And I don't say that because I think he's some great coach, but if he has success over a few years he could be around for a while with the Dolphins.
