Why am I remembering something at Johnsons signing that he wasn't here to mentor Romo?

News tips
Brad Johnson, the new backup quarterback of the Cowboys spent about ten minutes with the media on a conference call this afternoon.
Here's some of the highlights:
On Jason Garrett: "He’s been around football his whole life [and] he loves it. He’s been around so many different football environments and different head coaches and different quarterbacks and he relates well to people and he’s open. He communicates and he tries to make it easier on other people and what’s the best situation and what’s the best scenario for different people."
On being a possible mentor to Tony Romo: "Tony knows football we already have a quarterback coach, he doesn’t need another coach. My thing is to just work hard in practice and have a great relationship with Tony and hopefully he’ll have the greatest year of his life this year and do great things."
Johnson said he's not a mentor to Romo saying, he's not here for his health. Johnson understands his role is the backup but said he'll be ready to play if necessary.
On why he picked Dallas over Denver: "There was probably a few teams and it pretty much broke it down to two teams, two organizations, I thought they had successful paths that were looking up and had a chance to win.
Obviously, Dallas had a very good year last year. I had a very good connection with Jason Garrett coming in there as a coordinator. I had a past with Ray Sherman, he was my receivers coach there for three years in Minnesota, and I just thought it was a great fit more than anything."

I think Kitna and Johnson are saying the same thing.
They know they aren't here to challenge for the job. Thay are here to be a good teammate and play ball if needed.
