Either that or TN missed the coverage call, but I doubt that.

Yup, look at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pic where he realizes its not a run and a receiver is running behind him.

I think Newman still played him a bit loose but he did have to protect the outside where there was no help.

For years people said Newman was all world but I said that he just wasn't tested. When folks actually went after them, they had some success.

The guy is great, just lazy sometimes.

I don't think the refs should have thrown any flag. These are two vets going at it. Let them play.

If the refs threw flags on stuff like every time out Michael Irvin would have a three year career.

Newman shouldn't have let him grab him. He should have hand fought and knocked his hands down immediately. You don't let a WR put his hand on you like that and control you.

You are off base here. You are not allowed to hold. It *IS* a penalty, it just wasn't called. Marshall *should* have been called for it.

In the end it shouldn't have matter if it was called or not as Newman was in position to make the play, he just didn't.

What does 5 yards have to do with holding? There can be contact, but not holding in the first five yards.
