Jerry loves Fantasy Football and he thinks that at some point in time this philosophy will lead the team back to a Super Bowl.

I have said since day one that I am not all that excited about bringing in Ray Lewis.

But in the same breath I have to admit that I think he would be an upgrade over Zach Thomas and that if he's here in 2009 I hope he does all that leading and stuff that people keep talking about.

For the $ predicted (or anything close) at his age I think is absurd.

I hear a lot of people on this board say let's get a draft pick to fill that role....well that's a freaking crap shoot! How's that Carp guy working out? How long did it take Bradie to figure it out? Burnett was a stud at Tenn....how's that worked out so far?

We need somebody and if he gives you 2 good years I'll take it!

Burnett is not going to cost anywhere near 8 or 9 mils a yr.

He'll probably get a decent deal to sart elsewhere, and next yr at this time fickle fan nation will be bashing Jerry for not keeping him.
