Tuck talks tough on Galloway and Company

By dcfanatic, December 4, 2009 12:40 am

Seems like only a few years ago this guy was a nice quiet hard working mild mannered kid from Notre Dame who was underrated as he came into his own for the Giants.

Now he just comes off as a guy who's full of himself...

Tuck on Galloway and Company

Eli did sound like a punk today when he said the Cowboys and their fans 'would get over it'. That was kind of unexpected.

But when this chump says 'we are gonna right on the wall again next year' it's expected. He's in for a rude awakening on Sunday when the Cowboys shut him down and they run the ball all over that Giants defense.

If I one of the Cowboys players I am not looking to write on any walls. It's more about stepping on someones throat and ending their season on Sunday.

Earlier this season it tasted real good when the Cowboys went up to Philly and won that game. But this win is going to taste even better.

He went to Notre Dame and he's a huge Alabama fan? Weak.

^^ 100%.

If I could get a clean shot on Sheli once the Giants would have to use David Carr the rest of the season.

He's a freakin clown. I typically like to keep it classy...but I really hope some of these tools go down with injuries on Sunday. I hate that entire team.

The Eagles are unbearable but I feel like these Giant clowns talk way more trash. Particularly for a team that's on the brink of playoff elimination. What the **** do they have to talk about? They're trying to salvage a season after an epic collapse from 5-0.

It's all fun and games until their 12 year old QB gets face planted on a blitz. I would take an early 15 yard penalty just to put him out of his misery. Send a message for the locker room autograph.

I would be that guy on the bench that would only come in the game to do the coaches dirty work... Put me in and I'll take somebodies knees out:D

I think the way it goes is that the Giants players are unbearable, whereas the Eagles and Commanders it's typically their fans I can't stand. Especially Commanders fans. They beat Denver and you would've thought they punched their ticket to the Super Bowl.

You do realize that you are talking about grown men? I am not a fan of Tuck but you speak as though he is a kid and he is clearly not.

Smack talk is a big part of football and that won't change anytime soon. I don't understand the attitude towards grown men talking smack especially when that smack talk has no bearing on the outcome of the game.

I was a big fan of Tuck when he came out of ND. And I follow ND so I am very familiar with him.

He was a nice guy. Now he's in NY with a Super Bowl ring hanging out with Osi Umenyiora and his ego is now as big as Giants Stadium.

A few years ago he compared to Jay Ratliff. Now he compares to Marcus Spears. And I am talking about his attitude and bravado.

Maturing into an adult and becomng a star player doesn't mean you need to turn into Warren Sapp.

I don't see a big deal about what Eli or Tuck said. If Dallas doesn't like it. Beat the snot outta them. What I don't get from Tuck is when he was saying "Y'all been talking about this glorious stadium, yadda yadda yadda." Funny, I recall the "media" talking about the stadium, not the players. But, whatever floats his goat.

This Dallas team should be more pissed off about getting knocked out of the playoffs by this Giants team and the Week 2 loss. I wouldn't even need much fuel to light my fire if I were playing. They are the opponent and they must lose and get the **** knocked outta them in the process, no letting up.

Damn, this is gonna be fun. Already let the wife know that she and the kid best be gone come 1pm, cause it could get ugly in the house. LOL

Bingo! I hate the Giant players. One of my good friends is a giant fan and so is one of my cousins. I just hate Jacobs (biggest chump in the NFL), Tuck, ShEli and the rest of those clowns. Throw in Amani Toomer also because I've hated him since he was @ Michigan. They keep talking about Flozell tripping Tuck and how it was so malicious. *** ever idiots. He tripped him to save his QB from getting blasted. I'd do the same thing, your tackle would do the same thing so **** and suck a fart out my *** punks.

why didnt galloway bring up the jockstraps? I dont get it, the giants should have been buried by that all week.

Oh and screw tuck. The first time we played them he was really careful to not say anything. Now he is running his mouth like the rest of them. That means they are at the brink.

Hit em in the mouth and fight off the early surge and we are going to get these guys.

no way we get swept by that team.

I really believe that all their talk this week about "We're the same team that started 5-0" sounds like they're trying to talk themselves into believing it. So I think even they know they're in big trouble.

Eli's foot possibly healing up is one thing that makes me pause, but a part of me thinks we are going to pound hell out of them Sunday. And I never feel like that.

I feel like our defense is going to be great. The offense I dont know.

Tuck vs free on third down doesnt make me too confident. We will see.

All they have talked about is stopping the run, clark basically said if we stop the run romo will give us the game so the cowboys are going to have to make some throws.

Aron ross playing some safety will be interesting. This should be the week to go to the backs and witten alot.

I just cant for a second see that team sweeping us. I cant. I know how much the players here hate those guys. It has always seemed to me our team likes playing up there also.

Even last year when we went there with johnson at qb, the giants barely had an offense till the second half.

Really? I think our D might come back to earth a bit, but I think our O will be very solid against them. They were just so, so bad against Denver... And with a new MLB and their safeties banged up, I think we'll be pretty efficient. Of course, if it gets windy, that would help both defenses.

And like you said, Romo has had some really good games up there, even -- yes -- later in the year.

One of the reasons that Romo has better games over at Giants stadium than Eli, is arm strength or lack thereof from Eli. Eli is has at best, just above Average Arm Strength. Second Eli doesn't throw those pretty spirals that Romo normally does. Thats why Eli misses Plaxico that much, since Plaxico didn't need perfect balls to make good catches or great plays.

Why does that matter at Giants Stadium? BEcause Giants stadium is known for the swirling winds. Guess what works in the wind? A good ball with a spiral. Hence Eli is more prone to ints etc. at Giants stadium than Romo or any other strong armed QB or any QB who can throw good spirals on money, in a swirling wind.

I think as in the weather report, winds are blowing a bit, its advantage Cowboys, if Run D is good again. Cowboys can throw the ball effectively as long as Romo doesn't have brain farts, Eli I don't believe can do it consistently.

Because Mosely is a locker room shill for the Giants players and all buddy buddy with them. Tuck hasn't even been speaking to the local media... who might call him on his crap play... but anything for his glad handing bud Matty M.

:D Thats so true. Galloway gets on him big time, although kidding, about his love for everything except Cowboys. Mosley lost favor with most of the COwboys players ( I think its mostly to do with him being with ESPN, well national ESPN mostly I think). So he now buddies up with rest of the NFC East players or whoever will buddy up with him.
