Victor Butler sounds like real deal

Who else loves it when a young player has all the right answers and sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders?
You are now going to listen to Victor Butler while on ESPN 1250 in San Antonio. If you hadn’t heard any interviews with him yet you are in for a
treat…
Butler on ESPN 1250 The Zone
Loved his answer to my question and his thoughts on the Greg Ellis situation as a whole. It’s his time to shine is basically what he said and it sounds good to me. The kid is definitely saying all the right things and he seems to be ready and focused to do whatever he can to help contribute to the Cowboys success in 2009.
Butler and fellow rookie pass rusher Brandon Williams are not going to be asked to come in and play a major role on the defense this season. They are going to be looked at as the pass rush specialist that Greg Ellis would have been had he stayed with the team.
Plus they will probably see a lot of time on special teams.
There isn’t any doubt in my mind that Butler becomes a fan favorite before too long either. He’s very engaging and his training camp interviews will be fun to listen to.
Good luck Victor!
