I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I'll let the mods decide.

I have a friend who can get authentic jerseys (with stitched numbers and letters and stitched reebok logo) for $150 (retail $280). I am going to check them out this evening to see if they are really all he said they are. He said he can get all teams if anyone is interested in another team (although I have no idea why anyone would be). I know others of the forum have offered these types of deals before.

If anyone is interested, let me know. If they are legit, I'll be grabbing Romo, Ware and Newman.

Let me know.

NFL shop and reebok.com have 30% sales all the time, one just ended on saturday. I like using those, authentic jerseys straight from the league for $163

ware as a "4" after his 9. : )

numbers and names are sewn on for both shirts, the "cowboys" stiched into the shirt is a bit "rougher" than "official" but it really is hard to tell the difference. i'm sure there's something somewhere, but i spent enough $ on the "official jerseys" w/screened on numbers that didn't last i have on intention of ever doing that again. as i used to shell out $80 at the cowboys store for a jersey to hear them say "aw, you need the official jersey so the numbers stay on longer for $250..." would just get on my nerves.

it comes with the tags and looks branded but at the cost difference, i'm sure it's not "real". but what would be "real" in this instance i'm not sure. i'm happy w/it and it looks great.

Thanks for the info. I don't mind spending the $ for the authentic but if I can get one that is the same thing with no difference for 150.00 less, well I'm in that line all day.

Again, thanks for the info.

Sorry they are Ravens, but I'm stuck in Ravens/Skins country in MD. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Oh, he told me they were $135 instead of $150. An even better deal!!!

Until you watch it a dozen times and the stitching starts to come undone. j/k My buddy bought a knock off Rolex in Korea last year, it was pretty cool especially if you dont mind being 10 minutes every time you go somewhere. :laugh2:

so far no bad stitching, but is it possible? sure. then again, i've paid more for the screened on numbers and they faded in 2 years. i guess you simply can't win. : )

do they really make thread and sewing processes that makes 1 process $200 better than another? :)

I just got a Romo authentic jersey for $60.

My brother-in-law, a Packer fan, went to Green Bay last weekend and called me saying a guy was selling authentic team jerseys for $60.

I told him to make sure they were actually authentic before he got me one. He called back and said they were the real McCoy, so I got Romo. They came in a full zippered thick plastic hanger case. The jersey is awesome.

I don't even want to wear it because it is so nice.

i hate to say this, but you simply don't get "authentic" for $60.

printed on numbers - $75
http://cowboysonlineproshop.com/mai...AuxTitle=Tony Romo Replica Jersey - Throwback

sewn on numbers - but not "replica jersey" "replithentic" is the word here - $100
http://cowboysonlineproshop.com/mai...352&sAuxTitle=Repli-thentic Jersey-R Williams

now, if you want a "real authentic jersey" direct from the cowboys so you know it's real?

authentic replica jersey: $225
http://cowboysonlineproshop.com/mai...uxTitle=Tony Romo Authentic Jersey- Throwback

now if you're getting category 3 for $60, let's not pretend they're real "authentic" jerseys that you'd get in the cowboys store.

but they are close enough to me to want to save $175 on and in the end it may not be "as good" as the $225 one, but it's a lot better than the $75 and $100 ones.

I'll post some pics of it and you decide if it's authentic or not.

I went to the Reebok site and the jersey I have is an exact copy of the authentic ones they offer for $225.

I also went to DC.com and the authentic ones there mirror mine.

howcome only the $225 one comes with the short cuffed sleeves? that's the only style I'd get if I were to get a jersey.... I absolutely cannot stand those big baggy long sleeves on the other jerseys....

cause that's the defination of "authentic" replica jerseys and they're $225 retail. the others are just "jerseys" but not "authentic".

the $50 "fake" ones look just like the $225 "real" ones. your call which you buy.

if someone is going to sell a jersey as "authentic" you think they'll call it fake and put a tag on it?

so they mirror yours - it means "good job" by those forging it. but if a "real" one is $60 - why in the hell would the cowboys sell the very same thing for $225?

To be fair. I owned a sports apparel store for over a year and a half... I would get calls all the time from reps offering to sell me products that are marked down considerably. If you've ever ordered an "authentic" jersey from a place on ebay you will quickly notice why it was sold so cheap... Assuming you were lucky enough to get the real deal authentic, there will inevitably be something wrong with it... I have a Roy Williams white authentic I paid $75 for on ebay... It is a real deal authentic jersey... On the back on the letters of the last name there is some "glue" substance... Not sure exactly what it is, but it was a jersey that Reebok isn't going to send to a customer who gave them $225 for either. Where do you think they go? To vendors who can pretty much do as they please with them, most of them end up on ebay. Not saying that they are all this way, but it is possible to get an authentic for $60 - $100 on ebay, if you can live with a mark or two...

good input and very possible to. but i've gotten an "authentic" jersey from hong kong for williams and now romo for about $50 each one, shipped.

i've got a "real" authentic i know is real cause i bought it from the cowboys store on 114. i see some subtle differences and i see the "real" has the overall quality edge. but the "fake" to me does the job, is nicer than the "repli-thentic" ones and a HELL of a lot nicer than the screened number jerseys.

i just doubt in most instances the ones you get from hong kong or on ebay are reebok cast-offs in as much as just good "fake" jerseys.
