I blame Jerry and the players. Take a look at the Ravens and Pats. Troubled players don't cause trouble with these teams. If they do, they are gone. Ratt shouldvhave been gone, but he is still here. The altercation with Jerry was enough to see him go. The team leaders of the Cowboys should share in the blame also. How many articles have you read about the country club in Dallas? No accountability is expected by the staff or the players.

Your Jerry hate causes you to make some pretty comical takes, which is entertaining, to say the least.

I completely agree.

He is the kind of guy who his team mates will love and opponents will hate. He will make some WR's nervous.

*fingers crossed*

Do you think Williams is someone the Cowboys are potentially targeting?

I honestly don't know. I certainly hope so.

I do think his hardworking, team captain reputation from college will reflect favorably in Jason Garrett's eyes, and with Grantham being his college coach, we do have some "inside" information on him, so I do see it as a possibility.

Also, Kiffin loves him some tough safeties... so if he falls in love with him and Garrett gets favorable reviews from Grantham, and he's available in the right round for the Cowboys scouts, then it can surely happen.

I really hope it does.

Why can't Williams start WITH church? I know we aren't handing Matt Johnson free safety are we? Niners started two hard hitters.

1st round = Cooper/Warmack
2nd round= d-line
3rd round= Rambo
4th round= RB
5th round= OT

Honestly if the first 4 rounds go like that, I could care less what the rest of the draft looks like. Fingers crossed!

And your blind belief that there is not a problem is comical as well. Defend all you want, but Jerry is the one running a football team like a country club. No accountability. With this attitude, troubled players stay in trouble. There has to be strong leadership to have a strong team and keep players on the right track. In most teams, this is done by the coaches and players, but in Dallas, Jerry runs the show from top to bottom. He has made that clear. Keep defending the poor leadership structure created by this egomaniac. It has worked so well these past few years.

Um, the rest of the draft? You mean round 6? No offense, but in my opinion, this is the absolute worst way to draft.

Please provide any post/thread of mine where I said anything close to this moronic assumption of yours. Thanks.

Post #49 you are saying implying that management is not the problem. You don't want any blame going to Jerry and friends for the environment he created. No, let's not place any blame on the man in charge. That's moronic.

I wouldn't sy I couldn't care less what the rest of the draft looks like but I would be pleased if we drafted the first 4 rounds like that. After that point THEN I would draft BPA. I think people who think BPA no matter what are th ones who don't know what they are talking about. You can't go into the draft with a closed mind. What if the best player available is a corner? I bet all of the BPA people would backtrack faster than Michael Jackson.

BPA just means you stick to your board, and team needs obviously affect how you rank players on your board. We've done that the last three drafts and have had much better drafts because of it.

LOL, You should consider legal action agianst your high school teachers. Because of your Jerry hatred, your trying to find any feeble reason to bash em. So in this instance, your poopooing Jerry for not wanting to take a risk on troublemaking players. Brilliant my man, brilliant. :laugh2:

It also means that we have left GAPING holes on both our O-line and D-line.
Our drafts have been better as of late but it doesn't matter when our O-line is garbage.

Sometimes BPA has to take a back seat to a team need..

Rest of the draft tends to be special teamers or players who tend to be cut anyways. At least lately in team history.

My point is that if the first 4 rounds go like that, I personally don't care what the rest of the draft looks like.

I think Rambo may be the best safety in the draft but we wont even have him on our board and i wont blame the cowboys after the trouble with Brent.

Two situations not even remotely similiar. smh

And AMEN to the person who said BPA has to sometimes take a backseat to team need. Garrett just seems like such an unflexible, robotic idiot.

Pats and niners workout tyrann Matthieu. This is why Garrett is a joke. He thinks his right kind of guy approach is so smart when it's really ignorant. Especially when he played with micheal Irvin. God I can't wait for him to be fired.

For the most part I agree with staying away from character risks... but not with Mathieu. I hope we find a way to get him.

Not all character risks are the same. Antonio Bryant for instance was a punk and even his own team mates couldn't stand the guy. Stay away from those kinds, I say.

Mathieu and Irvin on the other hand were among the most popular players on the team and they add something additional and very positive to the locker room.

Is Tyrann a risk because he might smoke weed again? Hell yes. But is he a risk in the locker room? No way. That guy was the heart and soul of the LSU defense and the whole team loved him.

Dallas should use common sense and get a bargain when you have a chance like Mathieu.

Screw Matthieu, I want Rambo. Lol but point stands, Garrett seems like the type of self righteous clown that has no business making decisions in the nfl.
