A tough hard nosed team Molly wopped them up and down the field.

Jesse was part of that same "soft" team the last 30 years. Always calling these guys out but don't remember his crew doing anything special either. The last ones who earned the right to call anyone that are the 90's Boys.

He just was never a great player. He wasn’t soft. He just didn’t have the speed and skill needed to be anything more than a Special teams player.

Regardless, how good he was as a player has nothing to do with whether his assessment now is correct. It is

Detroit showed this gutless group of players how to punch another team in the mouth on both sides of the ball, and exposed so many over-hyped, overpaid, under-talented and cowardly players on this roster. Despite some absolute ridiculous poor penalties called, this team had no chance of winning this game from the beginning. Another embarrassment for us fans, thanks to players, coaches and if course, PT Barnum.

Yeah, by having more talent, duh.

I just watched Frosty with my family. They use Molly wopped in it!

I think it’s a good assessment. Toughness and physicality is a trait of talent for a football player.


The lions have more talent that is physically tough and willing to hit folks all game long.

The cowboys not so much. Especially on defense at linebacker. Our LB’s were afraid to meet Montgomery and Gibbs in the hole.

Hardly a troll, stud. I venture to bet I've followed this franchise longer than you have, since 1966, and experienced many of the ups and downs, over the decades. To see the multiple embarrassments that this collection of players and coaches have put forth this year on the field, epitomizes the lack of pride and leadership that a professional team should have. Unfortunately, due to the lack of those key qualities plus multiple the overpaid lack of talent, this franchise appears mired in continued mediocrity and embarrassment for the fans. My opinion, of course, but I'm sure you know better.

Yes sir. It’s about the culture and that comes from the top and you can bet if it’s a circus at the top it’ll be a circus under the tent and nobody puts on a better clown show than us.

The problem is the bar is so low now with this franchise that we crave any type of success. A little 3 game win streak and we all get hardons thinking maybe they can go on a run make the playoffs and who knows. We all know what happens though. The seasons they are good enough to make the playoffs they are one and done.
It’s been forever since this franchise has had any real success so we all get sucked in by the smallest things praying something might happen.
