he is listed at 6'01" and as I said a guy who could go in day 2 of the draft.
Pros: His ability to find passing lanes despite his lack of ideal height reminds me a lot of Drew Brees. He has a very accurate arm, and can make most of the throws an NFL quarterback needs to make. Is very desisive. Makes quicks decisions and they are usually the right ones.
Cons: Lacks ideal height for an NFL quarterback. His arm is not that strong. Must learn to take snaps from under center and work on a dropback.
Overall: Daniel can be a solid quarterback in the NFL if he can learn to take snaps from under center. Like Brees, he will overcome his lack of size with smarts
Chase Daniel Scouting Report by PROBOWL
Pros: Very accurate and on-time thrower. Puts up very impressive numbers. Knows how to lead a team from the bottom to the top. Has good scrammbling ability.
Cons: Only 6'1. His hieght will hurt him in the eyes of NFL scouts. Operates in a 90% passing offense.
Overall: Daniel is high on the 2009 Heisman list. Colt Brennan's success in the NFL might serve some benefit to Chase Daniel. Proving that he isn't just a "system quarterback". Has great 1st round attributes.
He's 6'1 today. The combine will shrink him like alot of other players.
He was below 6 foot before the 2007 season.
He doesn't have a great arm.
Has never ran a pro style offense.
If he makes an NFL roster i'll be impressed.

Q: So you’re all grown up to 6 feet tall now. That’s a new development?
A: Yep, it’s a new development for the off-season. I measured at 6 feet tall.
Q: Chad Moller (the athletic department’s media relations director) listed you at 6-1 last year. So you’ve shrunk?
A: That was just for the media guide. But now I’m definitely 6 foot.
Q: Why is that a big deal for you?
A: It’s not a huge deal now, obviously. But if you’re looking forward to playing at the next level, then it’s obviously good to be a
6-foot tall guy. When they look at it,
5-11¾ sounds so much worse than
6 foot.
