Backup QB won-lost records this season

I agree. He's not good, but he's not bad. At least not this bad. Outside of Troy Aikman, any of the quarterbacks who played under Campo would've killed to have had a career like Matt Cassel's.

His career is over. Look at what he's doing. He has a noodle arm. He had a good run as a QB in this league, but he isn't close to the guy who was in KC or NE. That's why he's being passed around the NFL like a peace pipe.

I was curious if the 0-5 record for the Cowboys with Romo out was in line with or worse than other teams when they have had to play with backup QBs.

For simplicity, I compared each teams QB to their week 1 QB and any differences were assumed to be the backup QB. All data came from pro-football-reference.com

I would be surprised if Cassel is in the NFL next season.

First time I noticed Beasely on the ground on the second play.. looks like he is looking at the ref for a flag.. may have been a factor in that play. Definitely a bad series in general. He just would not pull the trigger for whatever reason. Might have locked in on Dez.
