Jacobs on 4th down in field goal range. Yet Coughlin goes for it and even I could tell Jacobs was going to run right. He looses like 2 yards instead. Bad move not to take the points.

Then when the Gmen get down inside the 5, like twice, and they abandoned the running game. So Coughlin puts them in a position where Dallas knows they have to throw in the endzone and it gives the boys the edge.

Thanks Tom! ;)

I could have sworn I was watching the same game but I think he ran left.

He ran left...I don't question that call by caughlin. They should have had no problem getting one yard w/ jacobs the problem for them was that the moron tried to bounce it outside towards ware. NO SIR!

Agreed but it wasn't coughlin, it was John Hufnagle the Offensive Coordinator who abandoned the run, I hate this man with a passion and I wish the Giants fired him (I am not one to go around and say cut shockey or fire Coughlin because of a bad game or something like that) but honestly this guy has no logic when he decides to call plays. Worse playcaller in the NFL imo...sorry Huff you gotta go

Timeout with approx 2+ minutes to go.............

Plaxico called the timeout on his own. That was his blunder.

That was called by Plaxico because he thought someone was motioning for a TO. That's what Eli said after the game. Can't put that one on Coughlin.

actually if i recall CORRECTLY those 2 drives in the redzone that resulted in FGs were both drives that were run HEAVY inside the 5. The tim they actually DID score was when they abandoned the run and went w the pass to burress to tie it up.

And bold and a chess player.

Go figure. I am just glad the bonehead Giants and their inefficient coach showed up to play the Boys.:laugh1:

The problem wasn't going for it on 4th. The problem was lining Jacobs up so far from the line of scrimmage. Stupid stupid.

Exactly...they pulled two linemen, one kicked out on Ware and one pulled into the hole...instead of banging it in there behind the lineman who cut it up, Jacobs ran outside of the guy who was kicking Ware out...made a very easy play for ware since he was being kicked out anyway...I'm sure Coughlin will be angry over that one.

Of course we got embarrassed on short yardage ourselves.
