1. Roy Williams...did he make any plays today? The most life I saw from him all game was on Spears fumble return. I'm sorry...I love him as much as anyone when he makes a huge hit and causes a fumble, but where he was drafted and the money he's making, he has to be one of the stars on a day like today at home with so much on the line. That's not the time a true star should have a bad game. If he's injured, which would explain why he's been tackling at the ankles so much lately, then I'll give him a pass. ON the last pass by KC, he and Davis both looked lost.

2. Demarcus Ware...Okay, I'm still buying the hype that he'll be a great player, but this guy is no freakin' LT. He was totally embarrassing throughout 3 quarters...no pressure at all, and he was playing the run like a girl...Gonzales rode him out on two of LJ's TD's. I was happy to see him replaced by Barnett for a couple of series. Bright spot? Barnettwas a beast when we had KC backed to their own end zone...he made 3 huge plays against Green and LJ.

It must have gotten Ware's attention because when he got back in the game, it seemed he had some urgency and finally had 2 decent rushes at the QB.

I think some are being to harsh with Henry ...he had to have some rust, guys, and he wasn't always playing the deeper balls that great before...speed isn't his game like it is Newman's and Glenn's...while I was cursing him out for missing that tackle and letting KC out of their endzone, he did jump a pattern early in the game and should have had an INT.

Why was Davis even in the freakin' game down the stretch...is Pile hurt? Davis and Roy just aren't very good in the deep patrol...those who keep making excuses for them need to accept it. We've got to find a ball hawk for the deep patrol, even if it means paying two safeties ridiculous money.

Canty continues to be our most valuable DL, making more tackles this year than anyone else, but Glover finally made a couple of plays today.

Huge props to the offense and Bledsoe...unlike those who believed the announcers giving props to our OL, Bledsoe was still under duress on most pass plays...he did a great job of hanging in.

I don't know what we changed in our kickoff plan in the 2nd half, but it was huge because DAnte Hall was killing us giving them the ball over the 40 and at the 50 the entire first half.

I loved the fake fg, pooch kick...but you better have someone besides that worthless piece of #@$#@ Johnson trying to down it.

Great win Cowboys...Next week will be fun.

BTW...I loved the win, but since some guys did play poorly on the big stage when guys of their quality are supposed to be stepping up, I decided to use this title and beginning so those who like to whine about negativity...i.e. realism...will have something to get fired up about :)

On a related note, the last two games for Fujita have been his best as a Cowboy. Besides the big sack he's been very active against the run.

...has a tendency to bite on the underneath play. Teams know that and will plan for that.

Ware may be getting tired. He needs to spelled abit this late in the season and Zimmer should move him around.

Henry not only has rust, but he has no speed. He played almost exclusively off his man as if his gorin was not fully healed and he cannot turn and backpedal. It looked like he was trying to keep the play comfortably in front of him.

Davis is inexperienced and it shows. It's affecting Roy's play and forcing him to do things he not very good at. Maybe another TC and he might "get it". I don't think there is a problem physically.

I think its pretty obvious that Henry is still feeling the pain in his groin. He had no speed, he played off his man, and seemed to have a slight limp after every play.

B-U-R-N-E-T-T......yea he is prolly my favorite cowboy at this point, i think he should be moved inside and allowed to dominate alongside B. James

I saw him limping,I was suprised KC didn't still go up top on him. I did see the safeties playing deep so maybe they played alot of cover 2 today

Roy is one of my two or three most favorite Cowboys, but today he stunk up the place. He was in position to make the tackle on Larry J. but stood still until the RB got to him and then a blocker glazed him and he didn't move except to stick his hand out in a weak wave. This was not an isolated case. He whiffed on other plays. I was really disappointed in his play or lack thereof today.

You know, you're right, Ware isn't LT--course, LT wasn't LT his rookie year! Ware isn't a DE either. You would never know it the way Zimmerman plays him. Dude weighs 250lbs, yet is constantly put out at more of a DE position, where he has to fight TWO offensive linemen, both of which outweigh him by 75lbs. You have to play to a player's strengths. Ware should be moved outside further, and moved around, where he can make plays, not wear himself out fighting off double-teams! If it wasn't for Ware, we would have half the pass rush we have now. He chases the QB over to his teammates, who have been playing against one Olineman, then they get credit for his play.
I saw him make several outstanding plays today, including stringing running plays out. He pushed Willie Roaf back into Trent Green, & would have had a sack, had Green not gotten the ball off the last second. How many OLTs do you know that can push Roaf around??
Wait until next year, when he has another 20lbs. of muscle on him, & we have a new DC who knows how to use his talent!

Dallas D gets a free pass once in a while too. It was the #1 Offense, who was behind the 8 ball and had to score. It was an old fashioned shootout.

Roy = not the same since Woodson got hurt. We need a real FS big time.

Ware = a rookie who will only get better. Too early to write him off

Henry = still hurt and won't be 100% again this year.

Roy played FS when Woody was here. The guy has played lights out most of the year making big play after big play. Has an off, not bad game and now he is a weak link. Watch the games and quit changing your opinion of every player like the wind. It is maddening here the way this works.

Agree 100% on Ware not being written off...I'm just saying he's been a disappointment to me so far this season...we drafted him as a premiere pass rusher, picked him as the #1 guy at that position. I think he's been unable to live up to the billing thus far.

Granted, he's a rookie...Granted, he should be much better next year. I just feel he hasn't contributed as much as I'd like to see a rookie contribute when we think he's going to be a star.

Who said he's a weak link? However, STAR players aren't supposed to have bad games when so much is on the line. You're supposed be be able to count on your stars when the season is on the line...they're supposed to have a bad game when it doesn't really matter.

Guys like Roy, Newman, Bledsoe, like Troy, Emmitt and Irvin are never supposed to have a bad game with the season and playoffs on the line...this is when stars are expected to step up, not do belly flops at a TEs ankles.

STAR players do have bad games. Irvin, Aikman, every football player on the planet has a bad day. No need to bag on a guy playing at a pro bowl level most of the year. Do I expect the world from Roy, admitedly, yes. I just feel it is unfair to point a critical finger at the guy after a game we won and the season he has had.

Aikman, Emmitt, and Irvin rarely ever had a bad game in a game of this magnitude. Roy needs to be much more consistent...I'll go on record right now saying that there's no way Roy makes All-Pro with the year he's had, and I doubt that he even gets a trip to Hawaii this season.

Did you notice the play where LJ tried to pick up Ware's rush and Ware pushed him to the ground like a rag doll WITH ONE HAND?

I don't know why people think Ware was absent this game. Everytime I watch this guy, he's almost always in the back field getting close to the QB. Yes, he gets pushed away sometimes, but when the guy rushes full out, he has this really quick first boost. If he can add some moves to his reportoire and just get used to the various LTs he has to face with some experience he certainly has potential to be dominant.

Shanle has not been as bad as you seem to think. Bradie James leads the team in tackles this year, but Shanle had more tackles than James did against KC.

I think this defense misses Dat's playmaking ability and leadership. As a group these linebackers are only average. James has definitely picked it up since Dat has been out, but this defense needs a monster middle linebacker to become the dominant defense it can be. Despite the OL problems, I think the #1 pick next year is another linebacker.
