I just got an email from the NFL that said comcast was raising the NFL Network to a premium package which means that everyone who now has the NFL network on Comcast will be paying 5.00 more per month to watch it.

Just an FYI.

Also there is Direct TV and Dish for those who want other options.

(With Direct TV you can also get the Sunday Ticket)

I'm not going back to a dish so I will pay the $5. I have been meaning to call and have it added but keep forgetting.

I hate Comcast. The only problem is that because of their screwup I get it for free (I just plugged my tv in when I moved into my apartment and it worked, I guess they never shut off the service for the last resident).

If I had to pay for service I'd get DirecTV in a heartbeat.

At least Comcast customers have the option to spend $5 for it. Cablevision refuses to offer it at all.

Time warner was the same way.

A word of advice, just call and complain about switching to DirectTV and they will give you it free for 6 months.

I love DirecTV...

Me too and they have so many channels that my local Cable...Time Warner can't touch. Or worse won't.

Look this isn't a Cable VS Satellite post....I could care less who you suffer with.

Pick who you want...Just suffer if you pick Cable over DirecTV!

Well, like somebody already beat me up for saying the same thing....some people just cannot get a view of the sky for DirecTV...not everyone lives where you can put up a satellite...

:(

But, DirectTV rocks! :)

Comcast is starting to piss me off, they have like 1 free movie playing in the action section, and like 3 playing the drama

Yes...yes I've heard this before.

If you can't get DirecTV for that reason..then OK.

Otherwise...Eat some suffer as my Father in Law has said.:D

I dumped Comcast a Couple of Weeks ago for Dish Network, I should have done it years ago, Comcast is the worst Company, they have bad Customer service and rates that a rising far higher then inflation. I guess they have to pay for that brand new headquaters building in Philadelphia somehow, it's the tallest building in the city.

I've had Dish and DirecTv. I like both. I like my HD dish box better than the one that DirecTv was offering. The only thing I don't like about Dish is that they don't offer my locals (Austin, TX) in HD.

I really enjoy having Directv, mostly for the 'sunday package', i can watch my boys play everyweek. But what i love about Directv and appreciate more than anything else is thier customer service. In addition to being a regular consumer, I have worked in the service industry for many years and i can honestly say they have the BEST customer service of any company i had to deal with. They are always polite, informative, and very helpful. I've had horrible experiences with various companies and thier customer service departments. As long as Directv doesn't increase thier rates too much or mess with thier programing too much, i'm staying with them for the forseeable future.
