Unpopular opinion: the NFL should do away with FG kickers all together. I'm fine with punting, but if you're on your opponent's side of the 50 punting should be illegal and FGs/XPs scrapped.

I have to say that bonking that extra point off the upright worried me some, but all in all I think he's doing alright.

How many has he missed?
I know he ziltched a 49 yarder on his first of the season attempts, yet hit a 48 yarder in that game and it was mostly touchbacks in the K.C. game,,,how many has the NUGE MISSED?

Nugent has held up reasonably well so far. Hopefully, he'll do well enough to resurrect his career and he'll hold out well enough for Bailey to heal properly and return as good as ever. Of course, that's the ideal scenario. On the other hand -- well, let's not even consider it.

Yeah -- I just can't understand why we couldn't get an All-Pro kicker at the midway point of the season.
