This will bite us at least once. New guy seems erratic.
I have to say that bonking that extra point off the upright worried me some, but all in all I think he's doing alright.
How many has he missed?
I know he ziltched a 49 yarder on his first of the season attempts, yet hit a 48 yarder in that game and it was mostly touchbacks in the K.C. game,,,how many has the NUGE MISSED?

One 49 yard fg in the rain, but made the next 4 in heavier rain.

Unpopular opinion: the NFL should do away with FG kickers all together. I'm fine with punting, but if you're on your opponent's side of the 50 punting should be illegal and FGs/XPs scrapped.
Good Lord, why?

Why not just play 7-man football?

Missed one but I think he hit the goalpost on an extra point

You do know the "F" in NFL stands for FOOTball, right?

Nugent has held up reasonably well so far. Hopefully, he'll do well enough to resurrect his career and he'll hold out well enough for Bailey to heal properly and return as good as ever. Of course, that's the ideal scenario. On the other hand -- well, let's not even consider it.

I’m worried about the future Dan Bailey.... Do we get the steady guy, or does he turn into Nick Folk... This really is not good news at all.

When's the last time you heard an owner comment on a kicker's injury? I know it's JJ...but still..lol.

Most certainly he won't be out of a NFL KICKING gig for long if he keeps his string going, after #5 comes back

He is...if he wasn't erratic, he'd still be on the Bengals. He'll have 3 good games and 2 bad ones. Too damn inconsistent IMO

Yeah -- I just can't understand why we couldn't get an All-Pro kicker at the midway point of the season.
Life can be so inconvenient.

If he makes it out of this he should never play in San Fran again. It’s where his career started, I think, and he’s been hurt twice now there. Once by a bed.
