CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Erik Williams, from Philadelphia. It's not a happy, lovey place.
He wouldn't let his parents attend the games there because he didn't think they would be safe.

Imagine if some Eagles fans did harass his Mom...the Eagles defense might all take the next game against the Cowboys off.

I'm starting to think this through from a different perspective...

Aren't Baldinger's comments in essence a concession that the Cowboys are flat better football team? He'd just spent five minutes talking about how good and cocky the Cowboys were. He doesn't ever mention the Philly talent or the possibility that the Eagles could simply outplay Dallas.

Think about it. If we were playing New England how might we think about knocking Brady out of the game. A lot of Cowboy fans might think that would be the only way we could beat the Patriots (currently with the lack of our pass rush).

It's a bit like the mentality of a weaker army...resorting to the tactics of a terrorist.

None of this is an excuse for the boorish violence in his comments...but I think ultimately...he's just afraid. Philadelphia is afraid.

This is spreading like wildfire all over social media too.

i just want a little extra fro the crowd for the game. nobody should be mad about this.

So if he ended up getting shot, would it be wrong if some didn't feel bad?

yeah not sure mad is the right word, at least for me.

just disappointed an NFL Network analyst would show such an egregious display of unprofessionalism towards any team / player

Curious comment...

I'm not that mad about it...but I feel that there's plenty of reason to be.

Putting someone in a hospital...Ending someone's career...is OK? Sounds like you've become a bit jaded and numb perhaps?

I get it from a trash-talking inside the game thing that happens. But it really is gross and shows how much some people really are like the guests in Westworld. Nobody should be talking that way on the radio without fine or threat of licensure revocation.

no I just think he was doing a bit.

The beginning was his true feelings for zeke though calling him arrogant. The other stuff I think he was just doing bits.

That's how I took it too. He was playing a character - the character of the guy who's supposed to motivate the Eagles for the game Saturday night in the hotel or Sunday night leaving the locker room. Those are the things he'd hypothetically say to the team to get them motivated. Whether he thinks those things are accurate or not is irrelevant.

just listened to the audio and was more disturbed about the bit about Romo. celebrating his injury. these people are subhuman
Yeah that was what blew me away the most. That he seemed thrilled that Jordan ended Romo's season.

Anthony Gargano is one of his good friends though and Baldy routinely does his show to talk about manly things like serving olives at a dinner party or what canoe trips he took with ex NFL players.

He just speaks from the heart there which is why he sounds like a cave dwelling mongoloid in the audio
