When you watch the Lions and what they do and then you watch Dallas it just kills any optimism you foolishly had.
uh oh you going over to the dark side? When you watch the Lions and what they do and then you watch Dallas it just kills any optimism you foolishly had.
Ha! I had something to do scheduled during the game. I could tell by 2nd quarter I wasn't missing much so I didn't even try to watch online.Didn't see you in chat yesterday @WoodysGirl , smart lady!
Did you have a premonition?
I wish I had had something else scheduled............Ha! I had something to do scheduled during the game. I could tell by 2nd quarter I wasn't missing much so I didn't even try to watch online.
I mean it’s facts. I’ve always felt this way I just deep down hope for luck to go our way…for awhile it felt like we just needed better qb play on the post season…now 10 other issues have risen. We are .500…we can’t even fully suck right lol.uh oh you going over to the dark side?
Dak couldn’t outrun Linval Joseph at this point. Age and the various leg injuries have robbed him of the little speed and agility he had a few years ago. Campbell is going to blast him at the LOS if he keeps it. Honestly I’m not sure why the Cowboys even run that play at all unless its a short yardage situation. That very first video is a perfect example of how you're supposed to play the read option these days. If the T blocks down the DE is supposed to crash down too with the LB taking QB duty. Micah and DLaw have done this many times this year and got called out for not being able to set the edge, but its a LB issue, not a DE issue.
Also on that play either Dak is handcuffed and they dont want him to run at all, or it was a terrible read.
luck still can go our way and we've always had more than just QB issues. Detroit pimped slapped us for sure but i wouldn't look at that game as a death sentence. we were pretty short handed. The fact that Jerry and Mike both believe the roster is fine is something to be concerned with but the NFL is a week to week league anything can happen.I mean it’s facts. (In bold ^^^): I've been saying this for the past 2 years. It's super easy for any good defensive coached team to defend and shut down this only 1 WR weaponized Offense when there is no other legit WR besides CeeDee to worry about and account for. Add in a poor Oline that still struggles to run/pass block or get any running game going. Well, there you have it. Too easy for opposing playoff proven opponents.I mean the first video is just such crystal clear evidence that the team's greatest issue is a lack of WR talent. Teams do not respect this receiving corps!!! DET is choosing to give multiple man-to-man options and play with a loaded box because they simply do not worry about getting beat by these guys other than 88. They are going single high (with the safety at like 9 yards!!!), rolling to 88 and saying "go ahead Tolbert, try to get over the top on us." No competent offense is running into this look - it is the type of look that teams like the Chiefs and Packers work relentlessly to get, because it should be so easy to get guys open.
The OL has no chance, doesn't matter which 5 you put there, because they are outgapped and outmanned.
On second look, I don't think 88 is even on the field, so the safety isn't going to cheat one way. THIS SHOULD BE PITCH AND CATCH.
I get it. But I gotta be consistent. I preached all offseason the trenches matter. Physicality matters. I don’t know how to win without a run game or stopping the run. I just have never seen it.luck still can go our way and we've always had more than just QB issues. Ive known since the off season we would need a bit of luck as our roster was not upgraded at all. I just don't see any benefit to the constant whining that takes place on this site. I prefer to remain positive till there is nothing left to be positive about. I also know as long as Jerry runs things we are playing with a pair of 2's when the rest of the league has 2 pair to straight flush hands.
that maybe a tall ask but san fran looks more vulnerable this year. I think we just got hammered by the best team in the league. Now their emotions were high because of last years game. We can still win 6 more games maybe 7. but we can also get pimp slapped to a 6 win season it all depends on how the team responds to the shellacking they just got.I get it. But I gotta be consistent. If they can beat the 9ers I’d say things are back on track to being decent.
I’d say it’s more like the Cowboys are drawing to an inside straight while the rest of the league has 2 pairs with one of the pairs the missing inside straight card.luck still can go our way and we've always had more than just QB issues.
