Barry Church is not a good long-term solution

Opinions on his play this game and the past couple games?

Definetly not long term solution, heard this is actually good safety class coming out lol.

He got his ankles broken on that Morris TD, although he is usually very good against the run and a very good tackler.

I like Barry but you never know which Barry Church will show up in the game. I still think he can be the answer to our past safety problems

I don't know if he was out partying all night yesterday, but he didn't look like the Barry Church we saw early in the year.

He's showed great ball skills in the past, but tonight it looked like he left a few INT's on the field. Not gonna dwell on the penalties because at least one of them was bogus, and I think Scandrick took his legs out on the Morris TD. He'll bounce back.

He's a liability in pass coverage. Watching him last week, his reactions were terribly slow. Unimpressive this week.
Safety definitely should be a priority in the off season.

I predicted he would force a turnover tonight. Instead he was swinging at the QB's head. I'll give him a pass. Maybe its just one really bad game.

Did I see him correctly on that play where it looked like Carter was telling him to cover the TE and he emphatically waved his arms and pointed at the QB and then proceeded to blitz, leaving the TE wide open? Glad RGIII missed that one!

He just played aggressive and it hurt him a bit. Not every player is gonna play at a pro bowl level every night. Church has been a solid player all year long not worried about it.

He's coming off a major injury that cost him all of last season. I'm willing to roll with his growing pains. Right now he's a big hitter and sure tackler. Next phase: improve his coverage skills. He'll get that with more experience.
