Based on things up to now, who will the Cowboys cut next week to make room for David Irving?

I know the team likes Wilbur but two penalties last week on special teams sure didn't help his cause. He better be on his best behaviour this week.
Benwikere is the favorite for sure.

Should have kept the younger player and better pass rusher in Jay Elliott over Wilber. But Bene, Nolan Carroll and Bell are scrubs too.

True and it seems many of us were knocking him to no end before Wilson managed to hit the jackpot with Dak. I'm not at all sure that makes Wilson a legend, though. It's tough to discern why we'd need Kellen as Dak's tutor if Wilson is really good in that area.

I can't honestly help but suspect the staff is keeping Moore to be Dak's tutor far more than his questionable skills as a QB. It's not something they'd likely want to admit if that's the case. Just food for thought. Oddly enough, we might never know for sure.

Thought Mayowa would have been a surprise vet cut out of training camp if not for the suspensions of D Moore and Irving. Now that both are back, plus needed snaps for Taco and Tapper, plus Lawrence looking like a monster, I don't see a reason to keep Mayowa. Did nothing all camp. Has done nothing through 3 games. No special teams value. No position flex. What are they holding on to? Nickel rush line should be Lawrence at RDE, Paea at RDT, Mo at LDT, and Irving at LDE. Give our best DE time from the QB's blind side.

Potential suspension of Elliott is reason enough to keep the RBs. Injuries and inexperience in secondary are reasons enough to keep the DBs (however terrible Nolan Carroll was vs Denver). K Moore is reason enough to keep K Moore. Wilber has great special teams value and can take snaps at SAM and nickel rusher.

Thank you! I'm with you 100% about Mayowa. He was a nice little surprise last year. This year just a progress stopper as far as I see it.

Didn't read all of the posts, but Brian Price an option? Would leave us thin at true DT but Crawford and Irving are both going to play a lot of DT. Plus we have 2 DT's on the practice squad in case of injury.
