I guess this means they are making another Batman movie. :laugh2:

This thing is pretty small. I haven't really watched many of the Batman movies, but the Batmobile always appeared bigger to me.

Wow. That looks completely different than the beast they had in the previous two films. That big wing is humongous.

That's the one from the first 4 movies. The one in the last two was terrible. At least this one looks something like a car. :laugh2:

I found the driver.

I actually liked that giant monster.

I thought the original one looked good for the movies it was in but if they tried to import that thing into the new movies, it's definitely a sign that things are going downhill.

I never liked the new one but it was growing on me until it turned in to a batcycle.

Holy Bat Mustache :laugh2:

Is that a production company putting it out there for filming of some sort?

or is there some kind of exhibit going on in the area?

It's definitely the old one. Just look at the front, passenger side rims, and then look at the back. The back is missing the old batman logo.

Uh, that's the batmobile from Batman Forever with Val Kilmer. NOT the one they're going to use in the next film.

Not the first 4.

This is the one from the first 2 (my personal favorite, excluding the one from the animated series):

The one in the OP is from the 3rd movie, which is just as terrible as the movie itself.

They redesigned it yet again for the 4th movie, and that one was pretty hideous as well.

Personally I really like the Batmobile from the new movies, it's actually inspired by the graphic novel of the same name (The Dark Knight).

Plus the Bat Cycle that pops out of it is sick.

Little cheesy but not nearly as cheesy as the whole damn car driving up the side of a building a few stories tall.

I guess I got to much Redneck going on as well. I too liked the latest version. I guess we should all be thanking our lucky stars that it has not come down to this, as yet.

There isn't any exhibit going on. It's a production company, but what is out there is minimal. (not setting up a huge scene with lighting etc)

If this isn't the current car they are using, my guess is they are filming a scene to refer something that happen in a past Batman. I'm in deep lower Manhattan, they usually don't have exhibits down here, though they do a hell of a lot of filming.

Nothing happened to Batman in the past. Other than having his parents slain.
