Be honest, how many thought we'd lose after Shankapotumus misses?

I figured Brees drives them right down the field for the tieing score and then the Saints win in OT. I was wrong :saints:

I did too, but that doesn't mean I wanted Dallas to lose. I really hope Dallas sends Folk to IR and brinks in Martin Gramatica if he has anything left.

Yeah, that was really ominous--especially as it echoed exactly what happened in their game with the Commanders. The defense looked like it was doubting itself at that point. Good thing Ware and Spencer brought it. ;)

I sighed and just thought "yeah, it figures"

I was thinking that this was a lot like that Commanders game ...

Thank the Lord for Demarcus Ware. Wow. What a heroic performance.

I had visions of them driving , scoring and getting the ball n OT and Romo never seeing the ball again....that would have sucked

That crossed my mind too but I figured our luck had to change sooner or later and we deserved the win and I dreaded what I would have to listen to for twenty years if we lost.

Not me. I don't think there was any way Romo was letting us lose that game. You could tell by the look on his face. I did think NO would probably score again, though.

I really thought we were done given the way Brees moved the ball on us for 2 TD's earlier. But the defense really played it perfect. Not just the Ware sack that closed it out, but keeping their guys in bounds to keep the clock moving.

The only mistake was Carpenter in the 4th and 10. Instead of just wrapping up Colston (or was it Henderson) short of the 1st down line, he tried to knock down the pass allowing the receiver ti break his tackle and get the first down. If Carpenter makes that play there, there would have been no need for the Ware sack.

But other than that, the defense played that drive extremely well I thought.

I was very nervous, but I still thought we would win. They were out of TOs and had to drive 70-80 yards.

My main concern was getting an INT call on a deep pass.

To go from being carted off the field one week to making THE PLAY on defense the following week is a remarkable story that we could not have written any better.

I for one did. But then I thought the score was going to be 63-3 Satints.

Could not be happier that I was wrong, and with such an outstanding game. I do wonder however, if the Saints took us for granted, or let's say "dead", like we do w/ a lot of teams, and did not fully prepare.

At any rate, we must not get too giddy because the game next Sunday is not going to be in a dome, but in the cold and snow against a team that is very physical: Not as much finesse as the Saints. If we can win the last two I think I may start to actually believe we can win a PO game, but it all depends on wether or not this team is going to play hard.

But again, a Great, Great win...

This win was great, but it is going to be cold comfort if we get out played/out coached/out prepared in Fed Ex next week. ;)

It wouldn't surprise me if we lost next week but I'm gonna savor this win for a while. This is what I like to see. :)

To be honest, I was so shocked he missed one that short, I didn't have time to think about the possiblity of the Saints tying the game. I'm still in disbelief he missed it. 24 yards? Are you kidding me?

It's odd. Nick Folk in high school probably would have made that.
