To be fair, Romo and Dez can embarrass a lot of people. But I don't think we're missing out that much. This guy seems to be an average CB... we're just desperate for bodies at that position, which is why it seemed like a bigger blow than it was.

Honestly never wanted the guy to begin with... the only upside to it would have been the proverbial nail in the coffin for Carr.

It was a bigger blow than most think because we could have paid this average CB a fraction of what we are paying Carr. Same playing ability at a much lower cost would allow us to get another FA to help somewhere else.

Time will tell if it was a good or bad thing he didn't sign, but I'd feel a little more comfortable about it if Hall or Boykin were signed

Truthfully, we aren't nearly as bad with bodies as people think.

We have what...5 and a half corners(the half being Jones)? Sure you can argue the quality but with Scandrick coming back, the position will be automatically upgraded.

Ehhh.......i'm not going to fault Robinson for not being able to contain the top 5 receiver in the league. He had no business on him to begin with.

Regardless of the game he would have been a considerable upgrade at a discounted price. As far as the game he turned his career around last year so IMO this tape has no merit on the player he became last year. You don't think Dez and Romo make this stable of CBs look just as inept in practice on a daily basis. Common.

I'm not sure that is a fair statement (bold), but I wont argue your setiments. If he was being paid a like the average CB that he is, no one would even consider cutting this guy. He' s a 2nd-3rd caliber starting CB being paid "shut-down" CB salary (but that's the price you pay in FA). He also has not missed a game, is a high character guy, and is good for 2-3 ints when he has a DL supporting him. The last two years, this DL has been subpar (and that's an understatement). Its no coincidence that Carr had 6 ints his first two years when Demarcus Ware was hunting QBs here. The DL has to be addressed to improve our secondary. I'm all for reducing Carrs salary, But lets not kid ourselves.. If Carr had a DL like the 2015 Bronco's, He would easily be worth $6-$8mil and would be more productive. Our whole secondary suffered because the Cowboys couldn't pressure the QB and the Offense couldn't score allowing the opposition to draw up "high-percentage" plays. There's no doubt in my mind that Dallas will address the secondary within the first 3 rounds of the draft, But I still don't think that means the Cowboys are going to let him go.

I hope he gets his $$$$.While half our defense is out smoking weed this guys was up in Flynt trying to make a difference.Yes he may be a bit overpaid but he shows up every game and he is at least decent.I can name you others we paid that didn't do that. How about we honor the contract we signed--people are always saying the players shouldn't be so greedy..

The title is miss leading if I may say so, it leaves the poster believing that somehow
this is related to the Indianapolis Colts who may have done us a favor by giving us
a good player or draft pick to use to our advantage. But seeing how this is about
Dez and Romo there should be some thankfulness that we have them, After all
we went through pure hell during the Carter years with Campo. So 2 guys who
you know can play is something worth cheering about

Huh? The purpose of the post is to remind folks that it was CB Patrick Robinson that was destroyed in just a few plays by Dez. You know, the CB that Dallas had a "hand-shake" deal with, then he decided to have "agent" problems, then went to his next stop and signed with the Colts. The title insinuates that maybe the Colts did us a favor. I apologize, I figured that was obvious. And to be fair, I did state in my post that "I could of easily titled this.. Be thankful these two are returning".

How ever you want to interpret this video..Romo and Dez are dynamic together and they embarrassed Robinson on this day.

Be thankful of the Colts? What does that mean? Do you even English bro?

Or cut Carr (JAG) and be happy we missed on another JAG.
