Two tight end formation we've been trying to incorporate since Dan Campbell wasn't a long term fix, and eventually picked up Anthony Fasano.
A power formation which is great to run out of. You have a lot of options. A big formation with a 7 man line. You can put an H-Back there in a weak, strong, or an I. Have one of the tight ends in the slot, or both of them....
Then you also take a page out of Baltimore and Pittsburgh's book. Smash mouth run oriented football. Baltimore did it with Jamal Lewis. Pittsburgh actually did it best with RBC. Bettis, Staley, and Parker.
notice in 2005 how Bettis has 9 tds, 110 attempts, and 368 yards, while parker had 255 attempts, 1202 yards, and only 4 tds...
