The Falcons had a quick 3 and out and now the Bears have the ball across the 50. Not really sure who I'm pulling for.
Considering at least one of these teams will end up 3-2 after this game, I'd say they're on the same level.ScipioCowboy;3022693 said:Atlanta and Chicago are currently on the tier of teams directly above Dallas' tier. They represent the next step the Cowboys must take in order to improve.

3-2, 4-1 doesn't make them in another tier of Cowboys. Right now, they would all be in the same pool of mud.ScipioCowboy;3022702 said:If Chicago loses, we would have valid reason for believing Dallas and Chicago are on the same level.
But one of these teams will also be 4-1.
I can't help but think that if we had played Miami, Carolina, New England and San Francisco, we'd be at least 3-1 right now as well.ScipioCowboy;3022702 said:If Chicago loses, we would have valid reason for believing Dallas and Chicago are on the same level.

At the end of the day, it's not about quality, it's about numbers. I don't care about style points.ScipioCowboy;3022712 said:It's not merely the record. In the case of Atlanta, it's the quality of their play and their wins.

The only common opponent, Carolina, appears to have played them a little closer than they played us.
They're so top tier they think they can cover 3 receivers with just 2 defensive backs. The Panch;3022723 said:The Bears look like a "top tier team", but their QB is doing his Jekyll and Hide thing.
