Hmm nice signing. He is a good stop gap.

Getting Holt would be a wise move.

They are turning back into a respectable football team. If they can get their defense to play the way they are capable of, they could contend again.

i wouldnt mind the bears being labeled super bowl runners, or the giants or eagles, what i want the cowboys to do, is earn the right to get to the playoffs and above, sometimes its better when your the underdog,

then you dont get all the hype and get full of yourself, without all of the hard work, practice and studying.

Very true. Look how it has worked out the last few years with teams that won or were in the Super Bowl: Cards last year, Giants two years ago, Colts 3 years ago when know one thought they would do anything after the way their defense played. I kind of want the spotlight off the Cowboys for a little while.

Not if he's healthy. He hasn't been healthy the past two seasons.

If he is, and can stay healthy, the Bears got themselves a pretty good tackle. Not what he once was, but that goes w.o saying.

I dont know what you've been watching, but even when he has been on the field he hasnt been very good the past few seasons...he really hasnt been even a "good" player in at least 2-3 seasons

might put them over the top in that awful division, but doubtful they'll be a championship team...still plenty of holes there

Signing Holt would be a solid move for them to get things moving in the right direction. Short term, like Pace, but good short term answers while they draft guys to replace them.
