Bears Win... Parcells Question

Just killing time:

The Bears let Robbie Gould kick a 49 yard FG in overtime to win that playoff game and get to the NFC championship.

Would Parcells have even attempted a 49 yard fg in overtime (Grammatica has the leg for that distance), or would he have been so preoccupied with field position and the fear of losing if he turned the ball over to the other team close to their own 40, that he would have punted instead?

I have my doubts as to whether we'd have even sent the kicker out from 49-50.

Probably not. But, I think I was more disturbed at the fact that the Patriots featured a Rookie kicker that was almost automatic all year. How do we miss on players like this?

It's this and BearShare today....

I just kept watching the teams that won yesterday and wondering if we'd have even approached the game as aggressively as most of the winners did.

The over all game I think probably not.

The FG in OT...I could see him going for the FG.
