It's as simple as that.

Dropping like flies
So the "best division in the NFC" is now 0-2 on the afternoon.
The Commanders loss to the Buccaneers means the Cowboys can mathematically eliminate them from division title contention with a win over the Packers. Same goes for the Eagles, if they can't beat the Patriots tonight.
That would make it a two-horse race. But really, does anyone think there's more than one thoroughbred bred here? Didn't think so.

I think they need one more loss, which they'll get.CowboyBlog;1788429 said:Commanders are eliminated as of today.
Let's see... Right now, it's Secretariat (Cowboys), Mr. Ed (Giants), Trojan Horse (Eagles) and Shrek's friend Donkey (Commanders). Yep, he's right.Cbz40;1788426 said:But really, does anyone think there's more than one thoroughbred bred here? Didn't think so.

I meant out of playoff contention.CowboyBlog;1788488 said:They are five games back with five games to play and we own the tiebreaker. Commanders can not win the division.
One of us misunderstood the other, I was referring to playoff spots.CanadianCowboysFan;1790016 said:No, we have the tie breaker on the Commanders and Eagles. Their losses tonight mean they cannot win more than ten games so they cannot be ahead of us.
