Hardy, Ro, Lee are all better football players than T.Beard.

You think so?

I'm not so sure. Frederick is an elite center and one of the brightest players in the league. Center is a spot where smarts really is a necessity and if you add his physical ability with his smarts... I don't think there is a better center in the league.

The guy is going to anchor the OL for years and I certainly wouldn't trade him for McClain or Lee. Hardy at his peak would probably be more important to the team but I'd have to think hard about it. Fredrick is a beast.

For the Cowboys for the 2015 season I'd suggest (in this order):

Romo
Dez
Hardy
Tyron
Martin

I think where we probably shine more is our next set of 5:

Frederick
Crawford
OScan
Witten
Lee

These lists were great. Thanks for doing them. I have a lot of fun with stuff like this.

The most glaring thing I disagreed with, though: Eli being the Giants' #1 player. To me, there's no doubt whatsoever that OBJ is better than Eli and everyone else on that team.

This time next year we might have a couple of defensive guys on that list. If Hardy plays well and stays clean, he'll get a long-term deal with Dallas and would probably make the top 5. Sean Lee might make it, but I'd be a little scared to put him on there because of injuries. Gregory or even Lawrence could make it too.

Dallas has put together one hell of a roster. Just look at who they added this off season:

Greg Hardy
Randy Gregory
La'el Collins
Byron Jones

Any one of those guys could crack the top 5 players on the team at some point.

Now that is a great off-season.

Not positive that Hardy would get a long term deal. Really depends on Lawrence and Gregory. If these two turn out to be absolute studs this year, I'm guessing Hardy is gone next year.

Order doesn't matter in this chart.

I would love to see a CB and DE replace two of the o-lineman on the Cowboys list.

Jason Witten??? Sorry, but he is over Frederick. I love Frederick, but Witten is a Hall of Famer still playing at an pro bowl/all pro level.
Except for the fact that Frederick actually was an All Pro and Pro Bowler last year, and Witten wasn't.

Hardy >>Fred and i love fred.

As a player only I agree with you. But as one of the most important members of the team I think Travis Fredrick may rank just below Tony Romo. This is the guy (along with Bill Callahan) that is most reasponsible for our line going from one of the worst in 2012 to what it is today. He has extreme intelligence, strength and leadership qualities.

He took away many of the protection resonsibilities from Romo and allowed Romo to focus more on what the secondary was doing. I think he helped make Zack Martin an All-Pro and if we lose hime to an injury, we will all see just how important he was to our sucess.

I would have placed Fredrick above Hardy but if Lee were healthy more often, he would have been on my list.
