I am disgusted...... I used to come here everyday because of the positive posts and the chance of a shared cowboy history. Now, I don't even know why I bother because everyday there is another post that says," Fire Garret!" or "Fire the coaching staff", or better yet the hatred of Jerry. Are you people that post this stuff cry babies? C'mon we are better than this. I remember when the cowboys first hired Garret. There was an overwhelming approval. Now you guys are just done with Garret. "He doesn't know how to coach" or "Clap, Clap, Clap"...... Well Jimmy used to clap... Are you guys part of the locker room? Do you know what goes on everyday behind the scenes?. Hey I love the Cowboys and I'm giving the FO, coaching staff and the players leeway because I don't know what goes on in the locker room and behind closed doors. I am tired of these negative posts. I want some positive post where we see a "silver lining". I am done with this site unless you guys can find it in yourself to look at the good in the Cowboys or better yet mankind. Peace out.

I was just okay let's give him a chance. I wanted Wade out so bad. But I lost confidence in Garrett after a year or two.

Fans need to stop renewing psl's and ensure that JJ sees Jacksonville type attendance. I also believe the Rangers or Mavericks could become more popular if this continues.

This is not how it works. You own the psl you get charged for the tickets. If you dont want tickets you have to sell your psl.

The stadium will never be empty unless the cowboys turn into the browns.

I'm usually optimistic and had a slight favorable opinion of Garrett until now.
Wasn't going to blame him for 15, and hoped 16 wasn't a mirage.
Just don't think he can lead this team anywhere further than he has.

Also sucks that our QB now has had 3 brutal games, our star RB got the 6 games and Dez(and Dak) still struggle, and our vaunted O-line is no longer great.
Not touching the defensive side of the ball, but we had regression from players we thought we could count on, with a few bright spots in Law and Irving

This is coupled with the KNOWLEDGE that the owner/GM is a moron par excellence and a snake oil salesman and will find a way to keep his incompetent HC in place with some window dressing changes

I was speaking more to the bungled player discipline matters of years past which regrettably resulted in a witch hunt for a premier player on the premier team. However, while I also support the players' right to protest and do whatever they like, it certainly has brought today's nasty political environment to football, which had previously served as an entertainment safe haven. The exhausting and constant political news carrying over into our beloved game has made it equally exhausting to watch and follow the NFL.

Combined with the watering down of the game which has been going on for years under Goodell as a result of rule changes (again, you can argue whether these are justified), the entire feel and enjoyment of the product is far down from a decade ago.

You could be 'onto' something there Neighbor, yet, to seriously flatter yourself in the thought that the dry collective untouchable and untarnished brain trust's impeccable input concerning what they deem of critical importance and the less than esteemed/ unwashed members witness on the field of play ,and call it as such, are equally meaningless in terms of another 'nowhere' season put forth and sold to those of both views
( the beyond laughable posts of " if x had y's defense " or " were w taken in the draft instead of z" threads are intellectually pathetic,,, but,to each their own,I reckon)

A lot of us wanted it before it got to this. FA is incredibly viable when relying on a real player-personnel guy, instead of a fake GM. Especially coming off the 12-4 run with no backup QB, or the 13-3 run when our D was further exposed. Or keep the Kraken and that nastay and not be scared of him being a big ol' meanie. Could use his energy and fire and passion on D.

Super Bowls? I had us going 9-7. We lost several veterans from last season who were better than some wanted to believe, but I still thought we might make the playoffs.

For me this season became depressing when the BS Zeke suspension was announced. Even as he got stays in court it was always hanging over our heads. Once he ran out of options it has come crashing down, big time.

That was my initial prediction after hearing 4 starting DB's were flushed in the off season, too!
But,,,,,, the unforseen elements of : " dump yer' accumulated heavy load of diatribe in the next awaiting box car" were never factored into that prediction,,, Now, it's akin to merely attempting the feeble act of outswimming the sucking vortex the Dallas battleship on which the decks we proudly manned sinks beneath the vast& unforgiving expanse we've ventured on!
