Think about what player in the NFL today would be worth sacrificing BOTH Tyron AND Dez.

While some may say well they're each in the top 3 at their position and that's not realistic, I'd say also look at Frederick and see this organization has done a GREAT job with 1st round picks lately (Claiborne we'll see this year for sure...) To me this organization expects 1st round picks to be at the caliber of Dez/Tyron/Frederick.

No one in this draft, even Clowney is worth giving up both Tyron and Dez for which is what you potentially sacrifice when giving up future #1's.

Kony Ealy may be a safer pick than Clowney or Manziel, wait for Donald, Barr (who is another Boom/Bust) or Ealy to fall in our laps @ 16.

It seem like this is a response to something in another thread. Why not put it in that thread?

Good point indeed, not many players worth that much, would rather give up multiple picks this year to move up, than give up next years first.

Hmm, with a Claiborne though?

How does trading one 1st RD pick equal two players (Tyron and Dez)?

I think it was in ref. to the trade up for clowney thread rr the one to trade for Suh that would cost us this years first, next years first and Claiborne.

The problem with this scenario is that there is no guarantee the two players you draft will turn into Tyron and Dez. What if the two players are Felix Jones and Morris Claiborne?

You never draft with thought they could bust. You plan for them to be hits and if they are they're too valuable too trade. Other side of thinking is what if guy you trade up for is just Felix Jones? Boom/bust is too high with 1st round picks
