News: Bell getting love at Rookie camp

Oh I agree, I was just joking about the constant complaints (understandably so) on these boards about the players and such. That's all I was doing. Just trying to bring a bit of comic relief.

I'm quite sure that some of our current rookie FA players are destined to win roster spots in the weeks to come. We've got a surprising lot of very useful players from this rookie FA crop. I think there's valid reasons why they're viewed as the #1 rookie free agents in the NFL. We've hit the jackpot!

Why not, let's inject some positive vibes into this upcoming season. Our beloved team needs all the help it can get.

 

It's certainly not like Mick Spags is the only one to see possibilities in Bell.

The coaches and everyone present in camp have had good things to say.

The word has been out for a while now that the staff is excited about Bell.

I'm highly encouraged that the team has managed to find talents like that.

 

He may be small school prospect, but he brings solid upside.
We have a very gifted athlete right now, question will be if we can coach him up to starting status and how long will that take.
Thats always the question with players like Bell, what is the "term'?.
If you get lucky and can coach them up fast than you get return on investment.
If it takes the entire term of rook contract to get them showing, and you cant resign, than you just helped another team steal your investment.
Im hoping Bell can find a place on this roster quickly, probably teams, and then transition more into some packages.
