Belt calls Leonhard the favorite for DC

Don’t forget Tristan Hill, Kelvin Joseph, Gallimore, and most likely Tyler Guyton.
Ah, you're forgetting his pet cat Reggie Robinson III. He was asked that year if he had a player he would call his favorite in the overall draft and he named that complete bum who was out of the league in a few years.

With Will McClay's eye for talent and Brian Schottenheimer' culture, we really have a lot to be excited about for the future.

In addition to being the Defensive Pass Game Coordinator for the Broncos he also has the title of Assistant Head Coach. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that means the Broncos can block him from taking a DC job elsewhere, if they choose to, since it technically isn’t a promotion.

OC is a step up from Pass Game Coordinator.

Belt's track record lately suggest he's more reliable than Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, and Ms. Cleo combined!
And all that time I thought Miss Cleo was a Jamaican Shaman.......turns out she was just an failed actress from Compton with a bad weave.

One thing that helps with leonhard is that Payton will speak favorably of Dallas and knows how the franchise works to a decent degree

I honestly think some of us on the board would do a better job running the team and draft better lol
It would be near impossible to do worse over the past 30 years. Nobody talks about Jerry as a historically bad GM bc he technically held that title during the Jimmy Johnson years even though he did none of the GM work. But, He is a historically bad GM.

It’s a step down from Assistant Head Coach
So the boys give him that title as well, it is a nothing title mostly done for respect. Bottom line DC is higher then pass game coordinator. You think the boys are interviewing him without knowing the title(s) they have to convey to get the guy onboard, even the boys are not that stupid.

The more I think about it, I wonder if the front office is going to be patient enough to wait for the Broncos to end their season, in order to sign a DC. I think they legitimately want a good one and might get nervous about missing out on someone while waiting.
That is a legit concern. Honestly, I would think going elsewhere would be third on Leonhard's wish list. I would think he would stay as DC if Joseph gets a HC job or go with Joseph as his DC. Those both seem like better options than going somewhere else as a DC.
