Belt calls Leonhard the favorite for DC

The Cowboys have had one of the three highest paid non-head coaches on their staff over half the years Jerry has been our owner.

This board just completely fabricates narratives out of thin air
Again.

What he’s paying someone is irrelevant. He paid Zimmer and Eberflus. Were they any good?

I’m talking about hiring quality coaches.

And I was talking about head coaches.

Go look at what he pays head coaches.

Dallas Bubba fans love Leonard but think Al Harris is too "hip hop". I wonder why?
I saw you quoted my post in the Al Harris thread and coming across this now I'm guessing what I posted went over your head. The "too hip hop" quote was in reference to Mike Tomlin/Miami, Dolphins passed up on him many years ago and that was reportedly the reason why. I wasn't sharing my opinion of Harris, just suggesting what the sentiment was by Dallas brass, LOL.

You do realize that his last 3 DC were the highest or amoung the highest payed coordinators in the NFL right?
Quinn yes

But where are you getting information on how much Flus was making ? I don’t whatever information you found there is accurate.

Leonhard would likely run a 3-4 base defense, just as they do in Denver.

That would mean Osa, Q, Clark across the front with EZ and Clowney playing Edge LB

Overshown and TB would play inside LB.

A smart way use the best of the talent available

I was just about to ask this. I wasn’t sure what kind of D he even runs. I know he played for Rex and a myriad of teams but wasn’t sure what he likes.

And all that time I thought Miss Cleo was a Jamaican Shaman.......turns out she was just an failed actress from Compton with a bad weave.
Quick trivia: She had a voice acting role in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Im hoping and praying that it will be Leonard.

If they decide to go with Whitecotton I'm no longer a fan of Dallas.

Jerry wants someone with more experience.

Leonhard isn’t seasoned vet at DC. But he’s closer to DC than Whitecotton

Believe they'll have a decent read on whether Flores is going to be an odds-on-favorite for a HC job in the next 48 hours.

Again, the header of this thread is misleading, having left out Bobby Belt's disclaimer that it's like saying who's leading the golf tournament after 3 holes.

If Tiger Woods were still Tiger Woods, Brian Flores almost certainly is the Tiger Woods of this situation. He's not even teed up to hole #1, but if/when he does, no one's betting against him.

I fully expect a few names this week, and hoping for Flores. Him or Schwartz would instantly upgrade this team.

In addition to being the Defensive Pass Game Coordinator for the Broncos he also has the title of Assistant Head Coach. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that means the Broncos can block him from taking a DC job elsewhere, if they choose to, since it technically isn’t a promotion.
So DC and Assistant head coach title?
