For a Moment there, I thought Risen threatened Jerry with the belt, to make sure he doesn't cheapen out this year.
Good points, but I’m still not convinced.I think at 82, having missed the playoffs twice, seeing Philly win back to back NFCE titles, realizing hes got about 2 more years on the dak window, having 2 first round picks and the ability to free up a ton of cap space....that Jerry is going to pull the trigger and go all in for real.
Hes got to know hes near the end and this is likely his last shot without lucking out on another qb in the draft.
Hate my post all you want, but if there was ever a time it is now otherwise he may not live to see a better chance

hey i'd like to see that!I still remember when Jerry said "all in" after the loss to the Packers. To me this is Jerry saying all in in another way.
Dont you get tired of falling for this every year?Looks like you are correct.
nah, i am just being pragmatic - at some point he has to hit a tipping point and i think that time is now. Will it happen, who knows and history says probably not, but there are more signs pointing to a bigger push than we have seen in a whileAnd then you woke up next to Rambo.
Hey the Dollar Tree stores raised their prices to $1.25 now.Big spenders ... but only at the Dollar Tree zone of free agency. Lol.

I agree and I am not convinced either - history is not on our side. However, the justification for a different outcome seems to be pretty strong this time.Good points, but I’m still not convinced.
If he were really that desperate he would have fired himself as GM before he fired Eberflus.I think at 82, having missed the playoffs twice, seeing Philly win back to back NFCE titles, realizing hes got about 2 more years on the dak window, having 2 first round picks and the ability to free up a ton of cap space....that Jerry is going to pull the trigger and go all in for real.

Dang, I guess Jerry will have to do some digging in the couch for a little change before he goes on his Dollar Tree spree.Hey the Dollar Tree stores raised their prices to $1.25 now.
Just saying.

You mean his 11-level smugness didn't convince you?LOL. This is such bizarre analysis because he's comparing cheap offseasons with very cheap offseasons.
Nothing in this analysis suggests they will (or have) spent "big" in FA. It's been various levels of cheapness. They are a little less cheap when they have a new DC. That's it.
For the people that can't listen right now, can we get some bullet points!!?
