Dude played a looooooong time.
Best QB they've ever had.
This type of thing saddens me only because it means I'm getting old.
I remember him sitting in the green room at the draft miffed that he was getting snubbed.
2 years too late
I remember when he got drafted, now I feel old.
I was at the 2016 game at Heinz field. Dude was old then. I never felt like the game was over till the clock said 0:00. What a game
It’s time. He just can’t move anymore and has lost that zip on the ball.
He said earlier in the year, and speculation was this would be his last season in Pittsburgh. Doesn't mean he will retire. He may be with a different team.
Terry Bradshaw would like a word with you, sir …… please wait.
He held on far too long - has been completely washed for years. I’m surprised they kept rolling him out as a starter year after year.
Fantastic career though and he was very good in his younger days.
He was better than Bradshaw.
Watch him replace Mayfield next year and lead them to AFCC game. That would fun to watch the Steelers fan turn on Roethisberger.
John Madden’s passing gave me that same type of feeling. He was my ‘football guy’ for a long, long, time.
Father time is undefeated
Wish him and his family the best.
Brady and Rodgers are the only two lefts from this last era.
Not a surprise. He hasn't had it for a couple of years.
The thing about Big Ben is that because of his size and probably some because of his nickname refs allowed defenders to hit him. Had he been protected the way the league has protected Brady he'd still be playing at a high level. His body has taken too much pounding over the course of his career and it caught up with him. He was a great player.. but as someone already said.. Father Time is undefeated.
That was the walk off Zeke TD game right?
