Technically three since they list Micah as a LB and if you want to get creative they basically use Markquese Bell as a LB too.

But still I have never seen a team this thin at the position. They almost have to promote Malik Jefferson off the PS now, but after three weeks of allowed callups they will need to do something.

I look at the roster and find it interesting but understood the depth in the back seven.
Q doesn't need the traditional LB, he has a defense designed to be very quick with high potential for turn over success.
This is not beneficial in short down and distance and GL play.
We drafted Mazi and invested there because the FO realizes it finally, just a bit behind the rat pack as usual when addressing the need finally.
This Defense will get better when they know collectively how to play the opponent, they need to learn some patience and when to strike, as well as when to stay home and start curtailing this run defense.

My guess is they know there are linebacker issues and harper wasn't going to fix it. I could see a trade happening like the one we made for Hankins last year.
